Great tablet for my teenager. Quality picture and sounds. Processing speed is good. We are very happy with this purchase

I purchased this tablet for my son and he loves it. He likes playing games and the tablet functions great for that.

Had a Samsung galaxy tab 4 and it was the worst tablet i ever used. I gave it to my 8 year old. This tablet is 50 dollars cheaper and twice the specs of that garbage name brand that was chockfull of bloatware and Samsung's miffed up gui. I will never look back, Enough said about that. This flex elite is quick and bright and fantastic resolution, I am ver y satisfied. I would like to make two points however. As others have mentioned there are only two negatives. The battery drains quick very quick I use the screen at the lowest brightness and it still feels like its burning my eyes there is almost no difference from Max brightness to minimum and that may be why my battery can't even last for 4 hours. And secondly I am pleased that it shipped with lollipop 5.2 however I am worried because when you try to search for update the system just returns with a error saying "update failed. Please check your network" I see others reporting the same issue so I expect it will be addressed soon. These two problems have not changed my very positive opinon about this tablet, that sports 2 gigs of ram and accepts a 64gb micro SD. Worth mentioning however that insignia and bestbuy claim that the processor is 1.8 gb and all the third party system checking programs report that the processor speed is only 1.6 at its max speed. I am aware of throttling core speeds however max speed is clearly defined. Please use a program like cpuz from Google play and let me know if your clocks differently, I am genuinely curious.

This tablet has great screen resolution and performance. Well with the price!

Battery lasted maybe three hours of surfing the internet. Was jumpy and slow. YUCK!

The tablet has worked well with no problems. It was for my wife and she has been happy with it.

On the plus side, this tablet has one of the brightest displays that I have seen. I bought this as a dedicated controller for my Phantom 3 drone and needed the bright display for use outside. My only complaint is that the tablet does not stay charged. In between uses, I dim the brightness, turn off the wifi, and close all of the programs, but it still looses it's charge.

Included for free with my Phantom Pro 3 bundle. Not the best tablet around, but it serves its purpose

My daughter wanted a tablet so we went to the local Bestbuy to shop around. The sales associate was very helpful, and after checking the competition the Insignia really beat the competition. Daughter is very happy with her new tablet.

I would say am not very tablet friendly yet into i try this out! I will say i return because i need laptop overall. It small i just think it working very well for it size! video quality was really good and not slow at it up too! If look for tablet not to expensive i would give this try!

Tablet works well for reading ,surfing web, and watching videos.

Im not guna lie this tablet is really fast with the 1.8 GHz Rockchip processor the 2 Gb of DDR3 Ram and the incredible HD display. It is great at handling every app on the market except Netflix im even able to run Disney Infinity 3.0 on this and that is possibly the most hardware demanding app on the market. This is also were the problem lies, the Rockchip processor chews threw the 4000 MAh battery and you will only get about 2 hours of usage on a full charge. The other problem with the Rockchip processor is that it has no fan and only a heatsink built in which will lead to 32 degrees Celsius when on the home screen or browsing the internet and up to 42 degrees Celsius when playing high end games. They way I got around this low battery life and slightly higher then average temperature was by buying and external battery with much more power and by installing a temperature cooling app to shut down background process. There is also a battery saving mode that reduces performance but saves some battery life which I would recommend if your using this tablet on the go. This tablet is really powerful for the price. The only Cons would have to be bad battery and slightly higher then average temperatures but you cant complain about the specs for $99.
