So glad I bought this Dashboard Mount when I bought the Garmin. I would not have been able to reach the Garmin from the driver's seat (NOT while driving) to set locations, because the bottom of the windshield is too far away to reach and I don't want to put the Garmin any higher on the windshield because it blocks my view. Glad I purchased the Dashboard Mount! It has some weight to it and does not "slip 'n slide" while making turns.

Doesn't work as well as I hoped. I had to set a velcro sticker to make it stay in place. And not tall enough.

I purchased this while on vacation after we lost our attachment to our garmin. I can honestly say this was a lifesaver and worked so well with holding our garmin and holding it in place while we continued with our travels and was much bicer than having the window attachment! We had no issues with sliding as went around curves and up and down through the mountains while on our last vacation! I also have used this with my smartphone while driving around town so i can leave my cup holders open for drinks! I would definitely recommend this for your garmin if you dont want anything hanging off your windshield or your vents!

Bought this to use with my Garmin in a rental vehicle. It worked very very well. Was easy to use and did well holding onto the dash without moving most of the time. Did move a small amount a couple of times, only reason while I gave it four stars. However very reasonable price, good buy!

Was hesitant to get this not thinking it would stay put on the dash. But it does work. Like it better then the suction one which always fell off from the sun and heat. This also makes it easy to grab if you need to input new data in the gps. Like it!

Worked very well with my GPS. Easy to set up, attach and adjust. GPS attached and Sat on dash during 2500 mile trip. Slid from where was best area for me on my dash couple times with sharper turns. Would recommend.

Old school, but just what I needed. I was just about to buy a smartphone because my dumb flip phone doesn’t have maps. Best Buy associate says: if all you need is maps,get a GPS. This dashboard support puts it right where I need it.

This works great and doesn't require most space on the dash. My husband and I could both see the GPS as we drove down the road. It stayed in place, even over very bumpy roads.

Works great. Keeps GPS from moving. The suction cup attachment to windshield wasn't continuing to be effective..kept dropping off of windshield after about an hour. Purchased this to avoid the problem. Easy to use and solved my problem.

These are good weighted bases for GPS. It’ll hold on most dashes. I’d prefer a little more sticky rubber on the bottom, as it does move a little on my Jeep wranglers plastic dash. Otherwise it’s good.

Fits on most Garmin products. Make sure what kind of Garmin you have. The pad does tend to slip on dash. Does not stick tight. Slides on dash that has been armoralled. You may need to use something to keep it in place. Also, the connection between the back of the device and the Garmin can be difficult. Sometimes the arm of the and the adapter does not fit securely

This mount is well made. It is wider that the Garmin version and very stable. It would be nice if the friction surface had a better adhesion surface as it tends to slide around more than the Garmin version, but sits nicely on the dash. I also like the flexibility of up and down and left to right.

It has worked the best at holding the GPS and not sliding across the dashboard. It’s light weight and stays wherever you put it.

The Insigna Friction Mount for Garmin GPS is great. It stays where I put it and is easy to reach.

Works as it should. Did slide around the dash a bit. I think that was my car though . I couldn’t find my windshield mount so had to get this.

It stayed in place pretty good over 100+ miles of West Virginia state routes, no flat, straight or smooth road, which was impressive, but it does seem to slowly turn to one side or the other, depending on where it is in relation to the crown on the dash, in everyday driving. Not a big deal but you do need to reach over and straighten it up every now and then. It has not slid into the windshield even in hard braking, which was my main concern.

Works well and seems to keep the GPS where it belongs. It's a little hard to remember how to get it on and off of this mount when we don't use frequently. Can be hard to attach, but not bad.

This works well with my Garmin Nuvi. The only con I have is that it’s a bit on the bulky side. It would have been nice for it to be more of a round base shape rather than the oblong shape.
