    The holder is durable and serves it's purpose. Only complaint is the gps drops during heavy bumps in the road.

    I only used my new GPS once. It worked fine till I used this dashboard mount. It doesn't stay on the dash even if you have a groove on the dashboard. I used it on a trip and it kept sliding around and then it finally slid completely off and my GPS hit the gear shifter and now it won't hold a charge. Best Buy used to carry another one so I went on Amazon and bought the one I used to use for my other GPS. This one works great and doesn't slide. It's Garmin Friction Mount from the Garmin Store.

    This friction Dashboard Mount is totally compatible with my Garmin GPS. My only suggestion is to perhaps add something a little sticky like two sided tape to aid the grip on a dashboard.

    I like but was more than I wanted to pay for it. I didnt fully test. Wish it had sticky on bottom. Seems to be ok.

    I really like this it works really well when you put it up on your dashboard. My Garman GPS fits perfectly into it it makes it easier for me to see while I’m driving

    Seems to be very functional and will fit GPS without use of a suction cup. Have not used it a lot as of now but seems to be a good product.

    Nice product, nice size. It makes some of the added steps of some other mounts unnecessary. It has a fold down post that makes suction cups obsolete.

    In my vehicle the mount has to be tied in place or it will slide all the way to the windshield. I drive a 15 passenger van that has a large area that slopes too much for the friction pad to hold it in place.
