Nice little cam for the money.
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have this mounted beside the rearview mirror on my Silverado. It's small enough that it's unobtrusive, but the screen is still large enough that I can see what's showing on the screen. The suction cup is slightly tacky and pretty strong. Combined with the camera's lightweight, I don't see it ever coming loose. Video quality is pretty good. Signs and license plates are captured pretty well, though plates can be a bit iffy if they're too far away. The audio is good too, so if you're trying to note a plate for an incident, it might be best to call it out verbally so you'll have an audio record of it on the video just to be safe. The rear camera can be adjusted to aim up or down if needed and the camera is good enough to capture what's happening behind me, even through my truck's extremely dark window tint. This camera does not have an internal battery, so it has to be plugged in to power to operate. The power cord is generously long, so figuring out where you want to get your power from should be easy. The power cord is a USB, making it convenient to plug into any USB port or adapter you have in your vehicle. I have mine run to a USB adapter in my center console and just plug/unplug it when I want to turn the camera on/off. For me, it's quicker and more convenient than using the power button on the camera itself. The on-screen menus are not intuitive at all, but at the same time aren't too difficult to figure out. After initial setup, I rarely ever get into them. Just note that the camera cannot be recording while navigating the menus. At this price point this is a very good camera and I will likely end up getting 1 or 2 more for other vehicles.

Great Dash Cam
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a very simple, yet effective cam. The suction cup holds nice and firm with an added locking mechanism, the unit itself is lightweight, the interface is straightforward and the power cable is generously long. I like that it includes a USB hub adapter to plug into your cars aux power outlet too. The recording quality is really good for both the front and rear facing cameras day and night. It also has loop recording, which is a feature you want in a dash cam *Basically it will keep constantly recording, even if you run out of memory, as it overwrites old files*. Things I want potential buyers to be aware of, because I see others may have not read the full description of this unit, is this is a HARDWIRED powered unit ONLY. It MUST be plugged in to function. Second, it DOES NOT come with a micro SD card. Even though the online manual says it can support up to 256gb cards, I can confirm that it DOES NOT support it. I got an unsupported error message multiple times. The box however indicates it can only support up to a 128gb card, which is the correct limit. Pro tip, get a higher quality fast reading SD card do NOT go cheap *I use a Sandisk with a V10 rating*. Make sure to format the card if using for the first time there is a handy built in setting in the dash cam that can do it for you. Video clips are saved as MP4 files and they they can be saved and played on most devices. Clips can be trimmed and sorted afterwards too. Overall, it's a very good cam for the price. Obviously there are more expensive better ones, but this still performs exceptionally well for only a hundred bucks and it can fit most peoples needs. As a safety precaution, I recommend taking it down if you are going to be parked for an extended period of time, so as noone tries to make an attempt to steal it. I've done this a bunch of times and it hasn't lost any suction strength.

finally a dc that handles 256gb card
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this is my 4th dashcam .. and the reason i got this was for the 256gb sd capacity .. and 2nd for rear facing .. then 3rd is higher resolution .. in the past 5 years ,my, DC have recorded 3 crashes for me ,,and many near wrecks ,, and all not my fault.. today there are lots more careless drivers and you need proof ,, as some will blame you .. so obvious when you find so many on ytube .. here is a tip ,, if you read my review .. and see my photo . . i use a flat metal you can get anywhere at home stores ,, then remove a screw or bolt from your sun visor mount ,, to mount the metal plate .. take the DC windshield mount and cut off the rubber ,, and drill a hole and put a bolt or screw thru it ,,, it is up to you to do what you like.. now attach the metal bar to your sunvisor mount,, just like a washer ,, which is a hard solid mount to the car roof .. my current DC is attached to only one passenger sun visor bolt ,, but for my new mount ,i will use a longer metal plate to span both the driver and passenger sunvisor mount ,, and then mount the dashcam anywhere along the middle of the metal mount to get a rear view too .. another reason for the rear view ,, is ,, there are always speeding drivers who will catch up to you on the highway and then tail gaite you for no reason .. instead of passing you ,, even if you are going over the speed limit with cruze control .. ha .. and i thnk this type rear view DC is better than a camera outside ..or on the rear window ,, that you catch a tail gater .. completely blocking your driver view to check traffic behind you ..

Easy to setup
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.mounted it right behind the rear view mirror in my 07 camry. Wire across the top of the windshield down the side of the dash behind the glovebox into the center console. Took me 15 min to finish and that was taking my time. Picture is decent quality. Takes up to 5 min video clips of the inside and outside. Mic can be turned off if you don't want to be recorded singing. Need to purchase SD card separately. Using a 128gb with mine. Best value in my opinion. A lot of other brands sell at much higher prices just cause the brand name.

Great camera and quality.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked wonderfully! I bought a 256gb memory card for it and used the camera on a truck from Illinois to Nevada. Because our windshield was an OEM brand which reduced UV, the temperature of the glass where the suction cup did not get too hot. I had it in a 3 min loop for recording and have not filled the memory card yet. I plan on formatting at the end of every week, but because the capacity is so large, I can probably do it once per month. Quality is great, front and back camera. Easy to use, very simple menu settings and functions. I’ll be buying another one for my other vehicle.

Perfect and great for driving vlogs
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly I bought this for my challenger after my accident to prevent issues and for a first time user its good !!! I connected it to the car charging port and at first I didnt like the string hanging in the middle of the dash so I got creative and found a way to hide the cable along side the door and then put the remainder of the cord in the glove compartment and then have it sleek and no cables showing!!! ^.^ but it records front and rear and good picture quality ive made a couple of driving vlogs with the footage 10/10 recommend if you arent ready to invest in a hard wire one, just make sure to get a good chip to put in and done (; Also no additonal apps needed for the cam to work !

Get a dash cam for your prtection
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great add on dash cam; first get a 128GB micro SD card and a card reader (to PC) which are NOT included with the cam. I leave the display on when the cam is turned on. I manually turn the cam on at the start of a trip; off at the end of the trip. My vehicle's accessory port supplying the cam is hot all the time. If your car 's power receptacle turns off the cam when you turn off the the car's ignition switch that is a benefit to what I don't have in my car. CAM RECORDS IN EITHER ONE, THREE OR FIVE SECOND LOOP On cam display, follow initial set up: set the length of the recording loop time 1 3 or 5 seconds set how long cam display is on one sec to always on set date and time format SD card Upon set up mount unit, route power cable (supplied with cam) to an accessory receptacle. Unit will automatically start upon power introduction, there will be a couple of yellow flashes that will occur at start up for a second or 2. Unit is passively recording now in the set time loop. Loop recordings are stored on card and newest footage is over written on card to the oldest. To manually record press pwr button 1 time, the cam will record in "emergency" mode in the designated time loop, the footage is saved to another file on the card that can be only be manually deleted with the card reader Get a dash cam for your protection.

Great dashcam
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this open box dash cam and am very satisfied with it. It records up to 5 minutes at a time and will continue until it fills up the storage and then will overwrite old videos. It supports up to 128gb micro sd storage and wiring was a very simple process with someone that has 0 experience with it. I ran the wire in from the cigarette lighter under the glove compartment around the right side of the passenger window up to the rearview mirror and it worked perfectly. It is hardly noticeable and I’m waiting to see if my wife notices my work that I did. It has an easy to remove connector so that one can bring In the dash cam to deter theft. Transfer of video was painless with an SD card adapter connected to the computer. I tried connecting the device directly with the SD card inside however I was not able to get the computer to identify where the videos were this way. It will help when on the road and need evidence from those not so safe drivers.

Good camera
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good camera, HD video. Suction mount works good and is firmly in place. Still fairly new, so have not experienced any issues with the mount adhesive material, as some other reviewers had documented. It seems like that may be the case in extreme heat/sunshine areas, but not sure. You will have to do a bit of tucking to try to hide the power cord as best as possible and to get out of the way, but manageable. I bought a 128 card and it holds a good amount of video.

||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this dash cam in store about 2 months ago. Got $20 discounts so it was a good deal. I took it with me on a trip to Switzerland and used it on the rental car. Easy to install. It is small enough so I can pack it when I'm travelling and use it on my rental cars. The USB cable is long enough so I can run it along the edge of the windshield and hide it from view.

For sure... GREAT buy
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.wowser... it has taken me to long to write this... I am sorry for that... anyways.... such a good little camera... I have included pictures to prove that it does its job. It films in constant loops of 3 min... unless it detects jolts then it starts over to make sure its capturing... so ya the carwashes are fun... I forget that I'm always being recorded so that's fun for my lip syncing & cursing... & it also takes still shots... really wish I could upload a video to show you how great it takes videos'

Great dash cam for the price
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it open box online. As my first dash camera I’m impressed. It’s simple and does the job it’s suppose to. Video quality is clear in both front and rear camera. Settings are a bit weird but you can get used to it pretty quick. Just wish the usb was a bit longer but I was still able to hid it and set it up in my MDX.

NC
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good product for your money. Daytime footage looks great. Night filming is a bit grainy, it is difficult to make out the license plates of the cars. The interior camera is only adjustable up and down. There are no left and right adjustments. I give 4 stars.

VERY SATISFIED
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A bang for your buck. If you are not a DIY gut & doesn’t want to run wires for a separate rear camera, this dash cam will be great and does it’s job. The built in rear camera for me is good enough. CLEAR videos front & back. For those who wrote that there is no instructions, you can fond & print it on Bestbuy website, thus all in all i am VERY SATISFIED

Amazing, worth the price & simple to set up.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.10/10 would recommend to anyone. It does exactly what the description says it does. Someone rear ended me and that was the first time I actually had to go over the footage. It provided a perfect rear view and front view and you can hear the auto perfectly clear. I got the blue Samsung 256 micro SD card with the adapter; it worked fine and I had no issues. Just format the SD card in the dash cam like the directions says.

Easy to install and setup
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does what I expected. The screen is small, but I can put the disk in my computer and review the video. I like the long cord that came with it. I was able to loop it up across the top of the windshield and back down and across to the power outlet on my dashboard. It is almost completely out of site. The video and sound quality is very clear.

Pretty good dash cam
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used to use Off brand go pros for a dashcam but decided to try a dedicated one instead. I was drawn to the dual camera. It has come in handy. My only gripe is the suction. It got to hot and since it has a sticky adhesive it fell and now it’s dirty and can’t stick back on the windshield.

More plastic on my windshield then on the sunction
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the camera, worked great. I was in a accident and worked as it should. Cops were happy as were the laywers. I would give 5 stars but im a over a year into owner ship and now that its hot it has become useless. I have more ppastic on my windsheild then on the suction cup and is out of warranty. If it wasnt for the sunction cup it would be a great purchase but now i have to buy another one with better quality suction cup that can withstand the heat of las vegas.
