Good quality for the price of this item very small and effective

Love this product. It recently just saved me from what could have been a heavy expense. Video quality is good. Insignia has always been a great brand. Wish the field of view was wider but its all good. Good product!

Great little dash cam. Very good picture quality. Has a camera for the rear but records more inside of the car than outside the rear window. Needs to be plugged in with the car on in order to record. Records sound pretty good too.

This camera records both front and inside the cabin with sound. The sound can be disabled if you prefer. I use this camera for peace of mind and to protect my riders. It was easy to install and set up. I’d recommend this camera for any ride share driver.

Good camera especially since there is no additional wiring required to activate the rear camera. The rear facing camera records the cab along with traffic from behind. Does a great job, but recording the cab may not be what you want.

For two years I drove with this in my car and have never needed the videos taken. However, just recently, the rear view video allowed me to disprove another driver's claim that I was solely at fault in an incident. It's definitely better to have it and not need it than need it but not have it. There are some minor drawnbacks to the product. 1) Any jiggling of the camera while attempting to select the menu would cause the camera to activate and attempt to save the event rather than enter menu mode. It takes a while to develop the right touch to get to it, but the menu is very easy to navigate. 2) Unless your car's USB powerpoint remains powered when you shut off the engine nothing will be recorded while you are away. However, I have a rechargeable USB battery pack that allows me to keep the camera activated and record anything that happens when I'm not present.

I deliver with Doordash and this is lifesaver. Driving around all day I have almost been hit numerous times. This gives me more of a sense of security just in case anything happens. It’s good for how inexpensive it is, although does lack some features like a touchscreen or internal battery and needs to be plugged in all the time.

I love this dash camera. I went and got them for my sons cars. Being they are young adults they love them also. They have help to notice several videos that you will not. the dash also help when I was hit in my truck by a teenager that was telling a lie. Police review the accident. He said good you had it.

Great camera,easy to install,easy to use,very reasonable price

I commute and always seem to have a story from the road. Now I have visual confirmation of some of the strange things that happen during my trips. The Insignia Dash Cam has good 1080p video. One of the things that I like is that the video is stored in MP4 files rather than in some proprietary format that requires downloading an app for your phone or computer.

This camera was a great purchase. The forward facing camera has caught several traffic issues, while the back camera does cover the interior of the car and to some extent behind it as well, through the windows of course. The menu is hard to use so I just move the memory card to my computer to access the recorded video. I like that it goes to sleep if I forget to turn it off.
