Great camera especially for the low price. Easy to install and provides a beautiful display for both front and rear views. Worth the buy.

This dashcam does all the jobs that my other very expensive dashcam does. This one is nice, small works with an SD card of 250G, and captures the rear and front.

Worked great for a few days then stopped all together. Kept freezing. Wouldn't even turn off when power was unplugged. Returned to store.

Great dashcam, support for 256gb SSD card is nice to hold a lot of storage. Thankfully I haven't had to pull footage off it yet.

It works great we don’t have to do anything about it it turns on and off by itself I couldn’t ask for anything better

Camera is fine, however as other reviews state the mount SUCKS! Purchased in September of 2020. Now here we are in May. The suction cup completely melted and slid down my windshield. The residue wont come off. My windshield has 0% UV blocking tint on it, Now I have to have my windshield redone for $200.

Wonderful product, beeps every hour to keep me awake during long drives.

Product is good. However, life time not so good. After years of purchase, suction back of unit began to melt to glass of windshield.

Bought 4 pieces for my 4 semi trucks, works flawless. Good built quality

The video quality is not that bad, its just the size of the screen is too small. You have to upload on a computer, no one really wants to do that incase of emergency.

It doesn’t work, I set it up and when I inserted the sd card I got both messages first card error format and then card error replace sd card. Now my dash Cam is stuck in format memory card please wait and it won’t record or anything.

Just got this and I am very disappointed. I WAS loyal to BestBuy but this is disgusting. I got the item and it looks like it may have been an open box or returned item. The box was already torn open, someone else's smudges already on the lens, gross..

This is junk product. Never worked for me. Keeps giving me card error. SD Card Format Error. Tried various SD cards.

worst experience of my life! in the morning I need to drive across half the country and this camera does not read my memory card. I tried 2 different ones, bought a new one, the result is the same

Start off with the best part of this camera. The ability to rotate the angle of the rear-facing camera separately from the front-facing. That way I can have the front lens angled down enough without the back one facing too far up. Wild that this doesn't exist on any other camera I could find. Aside from this, everything is pretty standard. The image is just HD instead of 4K, but looks good enough. The angle is 140 degrees instead of 170 for others, but don't feel like I'm missing too much. Unit is a good compact size. Doesn't have higher end features like GPS or wi-fi to connect to your phone, but I'm able to live without. Rear-facing camera does record in color, which I saw some cameras didn't, and looked good at night too with infrared. Haven't actually needed to use the footage for anything yet, thankfully, but the review of it has produced a decent image with decent sound. Although it doesn't have the highest features, I'm happy with it and recommend it, especially with the ability to independently adjust the cameras.

Very happy with this purchase and Best Buy. Went on sale, got $20 off the second unit and a $20 price match for the first unit. Video quality is excellent even at night. Rear facing camera sees a good bit of the side outside the drivers door. Would have the same for the passenger door except I placed it slightly behind the rear view mirror which obscures that side of the car. Unit is small and unobtrusive. Suction cup mount is strong. Comes with a mild adhesive for the first installation, although adhesive may be the wrong term. Rear camera is adjustable independently as others have pointed out. Included power cord is plenty long although my dash components don't make it easy to hide. I'll probably pay the small installation charge from Best Buy and have it wired to a "hot" power source. Had a little issue removing it from the mount, until I realized it slides to the left as you are looking at the rear facing camera. You can easily plug it into a laptop while still mounted to view the excellent quality videos. It is plastic and doesn't feel well made but as with other Insignia products I own I don't expect any issues. The only downside is the menu which is anything but intuitive. You can't enter the setup menu while it is recording video. Still trying to figure out how to get it to stop recording long enough to enter setup, although initial setup was not an issue. Absolutely five stars if not for the menu. Recommend highly for an inexpensive dash camera.

Had this for a few years. It does the job and records both front and back very well. Very good quality can see all details even far away license plates. The negatives: The suction cup holder gives out after a while. They dont have replacements. Had to find a universal one that will work because of the notch. This has happened to multiple people. Because it melts and doesn't stay on, it leaves a horrible hard to get residue on your windshield. Look at my photos Sometimes when turning the car on it does not connect. I have to unplug and replug it in. Other than that its very good and worth the money

Upon opening the first dash cam(bought 2)something seemed off with the packaging.. couldn’t put my finger on it until I was done opening the second dashcam and noticed that there was plastic protective coverings on both the camera lenses and the screen.. but NOT the first cam! So I paid full price for a product that was opened and used?(it was used btw, there were scratches on the screen!). Tisk tisk bestbuy, you should know your audience. The cables were long enough to be routed(painful process lol), lots of slack for my Prius, barely fit into my GTI’s glovebox. Both cams turned on and began recording within 5 seconds of switching on the ignition. After messing with the settings for a minute or so I formatted my Micro-SD cards and violá! Success! The screen isn’t going to win any awards for clarity; it’s small but works fine. Bonus you can see both front and rear camera views at the same time. The picture quality actually isn’t bad for the price you pay. Honestly don’t even bother spending more on a “premium cam” as this will tell the whole story clear as day with half the cost. The suction stand is excellent... UNLESS you relocate the mount, then is begins to move around when you try and click it into place(a few swabs of rubbing alcohol fixed that issue)! The instructions are kind of worthless, still can’t figure out how to start and stop a recording without the cam freaking out, at least it has poop recording HA! Now back to watching these funny car crash videos on YouTube (DDS TV, YO!). I’ll update later if one of the cams stops working as I’m not sure of the quality JUST YET.
