So far so good. It was easy to install and access the mini SD card. Small in size, tucks up nice behind the mirror. The camera turns on and off with the ignition and you get separate inside and outside video clips. For the price, I feel I purchased a mid range camera that meets my needs.

Two cameras, the second one takes pictures inside the vehicle, if positioned correctly can capture the drivers side window and interactions there. Video is 1080P, easy setup and with the right tools can be directly downloaded into the iPhone for social media posts. Love this little device, eats up very little real estate when positioned on the windscreen,

it turns on right when the car turns on. It records in front very crisp and it records the cabin of the car which is great for ubers. I hardly every have to touch it. ive been using it for a couple months now.
People think it breaks because the screen turns black after it records for some time but this is automatic, as it is to reduce distraction for the driver. it is still recording everything while the screen is black and can be lit back up by pressing the OK button. lots of dashcams have this design. It records sound and takes a micro SD card, comes with a plenty long cord. SD card needs ot be bought separate. needs to be plugged in at all times. You can rewatch footage on the mini screen and it plays sound from the actual camera as well. It can be muted if you want. the suction is great it never falls off.

I had a lot of points rewards available, so I paid around $25 for this when it was listed for $99. I had reservations about such a cheap camera, I personally use a ROAV C2 and it's superb. However, I buy a lot of Insignia electronics and I've found it to be of high quality, even though it's store brand. I installed this in my wife's 2015 Passat, hiding the power cord behind the A-Pillar and behind the glovebox.
Threw in a 128GB MicroSD card, and after a week went ahead and transferred the footage to my PC. The quality is actually very good. Footage is pretty clear, audio is average. Audio was not too critical to me, as we mute our dashcams because no one wants to hear themselves screaming the lyrics to Journey as they're driving down the interstate.
The one thing that caught me off guard is that the display is set to auto-off after 3mins, though it continues to record. This was an easy setting to change though. I can't speak too much on the mount, as it's only been up for a month or so. It's held up well so far, and feels like it will continue to hold - though only hot summer will tell.
Overall, this camera is a very capable camera if you're on a budget.

Great Dashcam for the Price

I bought this on sale for $79.99 & it is entirely worth that price. Much like any dashcam it requires a constant power source to operate when the car is off (no battery included) but when it's on it records both the interior & exterior of the car in acceptable detail. The quality of recorded video is exceptional & license plates can be difficult to see beyong 10 feet ahead but it's not the worst I've seen. I'd ultimately say that for $100 or less your getting an adequate dashcam for the money. I would recommend this cam soley for those on a budget.

This is a good dash cam with features that I like. For example you can type in your plate number so that it displays on the video along with the usual date and time.
Record quality is good and the mic does a good job of picking up ambient sound.
I just have one problem, which isn't really a problem with the camera. The suction cup that is part of the windshield mount stopped creating suction after a few week. I made sure to clean the windshield before placing it and I didn't not take it on and off. It was attached to my windshield and one day it just fell down (while I was driving which stopped my heart BTW). Since then the suction cup hasn't worked, I've resorted to sticking it up with a bunch of clear packing take.
So I would recommend the camera, but you might want to figure out a backup plan for sticking this on your windshield.

Picture quality is great, contrast in low light is easy to make out details. Not quite clear enough to make out license plates unless it's directly in the middle of the frame, but definitely good for insurance purposes. The inside camera has a good night vision mode and overall good quality to record what's happening inside the car. If you're a rideshare driver (Uber/Lyft/etc), this is a great camera to be able to keep a visual of the entire inside of the car.
If there's anything I'd have a problem with, it's that you can't connect a rear view camera or keep it powered while the car is off, in case someone hits the car while parked.

This is small, compact, fits easily behind the front rear view mirror, and given what is happening nowadays, I'd rather have a running video of what is in front and behind me while I am driving (especially since I'm a disabled Driver too), just for safety sake. Easy to put into the vehicle and then it feeds off one of the Power Plugs in your vehicle (you have a long enough feed cord to be able to route that cord around the top, down the side, and then to the power plug so you don't have any hanging wires at all).

Works very well, incredibly simple to use. Video quality is very good.
My only complaint is the included instructions are not helpful. The full manual needs to be accessed on an Insignia website.

This a great dash cam for the price. The picture quality is great and the audio. The set-up was not as user friendly that I would like, but once I figured it out it was smooth sailing after that. I brought two, one for myself and my teenaged daughter. Once you place the micro SD card, it records and delete the older footage once its full. You can leave it and place and forget about once the set-up is complete and the SD card formatted properly. I probably will buy another one for my teenaged cousin that just got her driver's license.

One of the few cams that shows a wide enough view to capture outside footage of driver and passenger side windows. Very clear front day time and night. Clear enough to see street signs. Adequate coverage of rear. Useful detection modes as long as device receives power. Many Ford models for instance allow cigarette lighter/usb power all the time. Many Honda models for instance disable cigarette lighter/usb power when engine is off. A power brick is an ideal solution for 24-7 coverage for any vehicle. 128gb sd card capacity. No regrets. Camera works good enough for me. The suction cup worked great at first but, even though it has a sticky rubber coating on the cup, it would let go about every hour or so after 4 days of use. Cleaning the windshield didn't help even though I did that from the start. I've seen 3 different brands of cameras since that all use this same mount. I milled out a GOPRO mount to fit the camera's factory base. Then use a GOPRO suction cup, problem solved.

Good camera, produces fairly good videos. The license plates are legible from probably, 50 feet in the daylight. Way less at night, you can play with the sensitivity settings to reduce the glare from the lights. I knocked one star for the windshield mount. The silicone suction cup is very sticky initially and it takes a significant effort to detach the camera from the windshield. If you have to remove the camera every night, it is a hassle. But after few months the cup loses stickiness and the camera starts falling off randomly. When it starts happening, I wipe the silicone with 70% alcohol and it restores suction.

Setup and installation is fast in my 08 Accord. image and video is clear in daytime for both cameras, but rear camera image and video becomes fuzzy during the night due to headlight glare from vehicle following you. Download is easy and depending on length or recording time, 8 GB microSD gets used up quick, probably will cycle or write over previous videos every 30 mins or so. Overall, a good unit.

It was easy to setup and configure, just follow the instructions. There was confusion on the SD Card when I bought it. The quick install document stated 256gb max but everything else says 128gb. I had to call tech support to get an answer. I had bought a 128gb at the same time. Let the camera format it.
The biggest annoyance is the suction cup mount. It has a sticky tape cup but in Florida, the heat rendered it useless and it fell off. Someone online suggested using gorilla tape so I did, but that was only a week ago so we shall see if it solves that problem.

The camera is very easy to install, a somewhat intuitive menu will take a little "playing" with but functions pretty well. The online manual is pretty useless and additional help online is hard to locate. I haven't been successful locating the online resource. Over all excellent value. I have recommended it to friends.

One of the best purchases I've ever made. Bought this along with a 128GB SD Card and a card reader, and I was set. Setup was quick and easy. The camera quality on both sides is great, both during the day and at night. At night, it kicks into night vision mode. It only operates if it's being powered from another source, so if you either have to have the car turned on, or have it connected to an external battery.

I've been using this dash cam for a couple of years now. I absolutely love the video quality, and how easy it is to tuck the cord around my windshield versus having to do some elaborate install.
During the Texas summer it doesn't stay attached to my windshield very well if left sitting unused, but it has never fallen while I'm driving. Also, despite falling multiple times when I'll go days without using my car, it still functions perfectly, really showing that it's a durable device.

I bought this to go with the previous generation Insignia dashcam I bought two years ago. This became my primary front-facing dashcam, while my previous one became my dedicated rear-facing one.
Despite recording from two lenses, preview on the device does not lag, and quality is good both ways. Main front quality is a touch better than last generation, and the driver-facing unit has infrared lighting, useful at night. The buttons are more tactile than the previous gen.
Due to double recording, I did find my original 32 GB holding less overall time than last generation, I get under two hours now.
The suction cup mount changed from previous, the material is quite sticky. While it does allow better adhesion, it can be painful to take down. I also found the twisting lock difficult to use at first, but some WD-40 to the interior suction joint fixed it right up.
Overall it is a great unit, very useful if you want a dashcam that you can take down easily to move between cars.
