Customers express satisfaction with the video quality, ease of use, and price of the Front and Rear-Facing Camera Dash Cam. Many customers appreciate the dual-camera functionality, with both front and rear-facing cameras capturing clear footage. However, some customers have concerns about the suction cup mount, screen size, memory card errors, night vision in certain lighting conditions, and the dash cam not working when the car engine is off.

Very simple dash cam, but I love it. I installed it myself and it was super easy. I'm not much of a handyman, so if I can do it I think anyone could. Very easy to set up and get it running and recording. For the price, it's great. It's nice having a little extra peace of mind on the road.

This is my first dashcam. I got it at a discounted price for $70. I do not have any complaints for daytime capture but I don't think it is good for night. The video is noisy. You cannot read the number plates of cars at night. If you are looking for something that works, this is a good option but for better quality videos at night, I would recommend looking for something else that would cost a bit more.

Great dashcam for front and rear views. It's very easy to setup and start recording. This is great for insurance purposes when you need it. It continues to record and will save the video of any accident you may have. What is extremely nice is that the front view video and the rear video records in separate AVI files.

A Great Value for Dash Cam

This a inexpensive device that delivers what it promise! It has a good front view, but the rear view is a camera that's attached to the unit that mainly shows the inside of the cabin. The SD card have to be purchase separate, for this price point the sd card should be included. The device was very easy to set up, do not forget to format the sd card!

My first Dash Cam. Very easy to use and install. Don’t forget to purchase the micro SD Card! Works great. I ordered a second Insignia Dash Cam for my sister and she says she likes it also. It’s also very easy to route the power cable along the windshield down underneath the dashboard to the 12-volt power supply.

So far this camera just keeps working perfectly. Both front and rear cameras are always on, if plugged into power, and there have been no issues, so with the automatic eraser of oldest videos to make way for the most recent.
Easy to use. Once installed you can pretty much forget about it.

Pretty easy to install (hiding the cable is the tricky part). Really nice quality video. It beeps at you when it wants you to turn your lights on which has actually been helpful as I tend to forget and don't have automatic headlamps. You have to format your SD card but it's easy enough to figure that out. Recommended!

After seeing some really crazy accidents, I figured it would be time to get proof if I ever needed it. Easy to use. I hide it in the armrest bin when not driving. It takes 10 seconds to get it back out and put on the windshield.

Camera is very compact. Easy to set up and to install. It’s stuck well on the windshield. It formats itself the SD card therefore no need to use Safari. Pictures are clear. There is no sentry mode on it meaning when the engine stops , recording stops also. I have it for a month. I like it and I will recommend it.

Great product! We’ve had it for over a year and it still works great. The picture quality is awesome. The installation was also easy. I was going to pay Best Buy to install until I read reviews on how easy it was. I would definitely recommend.

Great dashcam for the price. Overall, it's a very good cam for the price. There are more expensive and better ones, but this still performs exceptionally well for a lot less. I do think the controls could be a little easier to use.

Easy to set up and get started with. Had some trouble with the battery situation in the car, but a quick search allowed us to get going on our safer road trips. Have already had to use it once after a little accident, so I'm glad we installed it when we did.

We have been using it for a month and it has performed well. Both front facing and rear facing camera video quality is good. We use it in two different vehicles and transferring it from one to the other is easy. It stays put on the windshield and pretty much works itself.

This camera is very easy to use, it’s quite a bit more windshield glass friendly, and it give great pictures. I picked this camera because it supports the Sandisc 256 gig card which is a fraction of the cost of the high end memory stick required of my othe dash cam.

So glad I bought this. Got pulled over and go a ticket for speeding and illegal lane change. Checked the cam and it was a car exactly like mine. Took the video to court and got dismissed. Definitely worth the money for any situation.

I'm pretty happy with this camera. Dash cams aren't perfect, this one isn't either, the menu is a bit difficult to navigate sometimes. I specifically got it because of the dual camera feature. The rearward camera has a pretty nice wide field of view. Note: I have not yet reviewed any of the recorded video to make sure the quality is good and also how low-light and nighttime video looks.
My biggest complaint is the price. I was waiting forever for it to go on sale, but I finally gave up and bought it at its regular price. The very next week, it was on sale for $20 less, grrr!! But it seems to be working well so far.

Driving anywhere is dangerous, especially when it can be difficult to prove when an accident isnt your fault. This little independent witness is a wonderful tool your vehicle needs. Its compact, easy to set up and front and rear facing.
Get one, it may save you some headaches down the road

This is really a solid Camera but only front and cabin cam only which we know.
Pros - value for the money
Cons - cant read number plates, this is 1080p with 30 fps i wish it has 60 fps to make the vidoe much smoother. i se most of the dash cams are 30 fps.
I guess even with 4k dash cams u cant see number plates clearly on the moving cars.
main thing is it will give you descent video quality with little bit of wiring.
It wont record when your car is in parking mode. I guess you have to do hard wiring to the battery i am not sure about it. over all i am pretty much satisfied.

Great dash cam to use for front and driver + back seat passenger view! Very easy to install and hide wires for best view. It also inclodudes alerts in case you are falling asleep.
