I bought this because I needed something to help me feel a little safer, as I drive a sports car and I already had one car accident a few years ago. This was super easy to install and set up, and the camera quality is great. I feel much more at ease having this installed in my car.

Bought this on sale. Not bad lil camera for the money. Had the front and cabin dash cam. You can record at the same time. Yet when you play back it will show each separate. Picks up nose and record sound well. Originally wanted a rear cam like a rexing. Didn't want to wait on install. Considering all the crazy drivers. We wanted one to protect us asap. The cabin view actually picks up out the rear window very well. So those riding your bumper. They are caught easily. Plates faces and all!

Clear instructions. Easy to install. Works great. Having this dash cam really provides a piece of mind. I actually put both in front and in the back of my daughter RAV4 to endure recording both direction. I will probably do the same fir my new van.

Very good quality front and Rear facing dashcam. The rear-facing is more useful if you are using your vehicle for Uber or Lyft or taxi purposes. Also, the rear cam can also catch some of the very close activity outside of your rear windshield. Not very pricy and good quality.

I bought this dash cam today 6/17/2020 cause i drive uber and lyft as my part time for security purposes. I would say easy to set up super lightweight wish they did little better on wire. but im still having problem with SD card. it keep saying on the screen memory card error. i bought the sandisk SD card brand new. Any good solution or should i return the dash cam!

I love it the fact that it has an inside-facing camera makes me feel safe. And it's straightforward to use. I would recommend this to anyone who asks.

The silicone suction cup cannot handle the routine triple-degree Texas temps, mounted to your windshield, so you'll need to continuously replace it with an aftermarket cup or mount it some other way. Also, if your camera loses power for any reason, the menu is wiped clean & you'll need to re-enter the dates, times, etc which can be a minor nuisance. Other than that, it's actually a pretty good dash camera.

Works very well, easy set up great pictures easy to share from SD card Just remember it’s filming you too. Great for getting someone else evidence of you on your cell phone during a crash. In today’s litigious do unto others then lie about it world, this may be indispensable

Going on three years strong with this Insignia Dash Cam. The resolution in 1080p looks great. Very detail, sharp, and colorful. In day light their is some sun glare if in direct sunlight, and night vision is also great in 15-20 feet. Within range at night the detail is there but after some distance it gets a bit fuzzy but still noticeable and could make out whats in front of your vehicle. The build quality has hold up in Utah weather. During summer never had a over heat issue or screen burn out, and winter again no issues. The temperature during summer about 100 and winter down to 20 degrees. Overall I'm very pleased with this Insignia Dash Cam this is by far Thee Best Purchase I've Made Ever! Saved my bacon twice

Love the idea that front and back camera is all in one. For the price it is exceptional. Easy to mount on windshield. Picture quality looks good. Love the features. Only thing you have to buy to go with it is the memory card. But in all a great buy.

It has a very nice pic and movie recording I live that the camera has pip which stand for picture in picture retime play. So it's recording the front action as well as the back so it's recording you and anyone sitting on the back sit. It's got audio and crash motion detection. So for the price it's not bad your be protected and have good enough evidence.

Working well, no problem installing it with the included hardware and wiring, the suction cup is very well designed and holds like glue, but easily removed and repositioned any time. The cable was longer than expected making it very easy to route the cable were it needed to go for a stealth installation. The only thing lacking was a storage solution straight out of the package, no onboard memory or card included, so having to purchase an SD card after the install was a bit inconvenient, the packaging should clearly state that you need to buy an SD card to be able to use the Dash Cam.

Great dash cam, just wish the had a wireless version so there is no cables involved but great video quality and safe to prove if you were not at fault in an accident

I love this dash cam because it records front & rear of vehicle or you can adjust to record front or rear. Picture quality is very clear, Price is reasonable (if you buy an open box you can save a few more $$).

Super nice dash cam, great video quality. My only real complaint is that it interferes with my automatic rear view mirror when the night vision is on. That being said, the night vision mode is very good.

Have had it for about 2 months, so far so good. The dashcam doesn't shake once it's installed on the windshield. I like that It's compact and has a rear-facing camera. A couple of nice to haves: 1) LCD display stays on (it turns off after a couple of mins, don't think there's a way to keep it on the whole time the camera is on). 2) Wifi capable (this dashcam does not have this feature). Overall, it's a nice dashcam for the price. Build quality looks durable, although I have only had it for a couple of months.

Video quality and functionalities are good. However, no internal battery pack limits its capacity.

Bought three of these when they were on sale. So far they work good with no issues. Video playback appears fine. These are my first dash cams so I don’t have much to compare it to but I’ve been satisfied. SD card does need to be formatted for use which may confuse some.

Love this dashcam. Came in handy when my car was hit. The other party lied and said she didnt hit me but in the video you could hear and see her car and the movement of my car from the impact. You could also hear our conversation about her hitting my car. She was found at fault. Too bad they no longer sell this item at Best buys.

good product and very useful for some kind of emergency
