They always say that Cheap is expensive, and that is true. I bought a couple of cameras from sites in the internet and always turned into a device that didn't work. This time I went to a place that it will be there if you have a problem with your equipment, paid more than those offers, but this time the camera work as published it will work. Good picture quality, works all the time and it takes a up to 256 GB microship. I don't have any trouble in saying that this camera is worth the price.

The Insignia Dash Cam with front and rear camera is a good choice for beginners. Easy to use, good video quality. The rear camera is meant to show the inside rear of the car and also gets some great selfies of the driver! Price was reasonable for the quality.

Easy to install and is of good quality. It can be a little sensitive. Hit a good bump or pothole and it will go into the accident mode. Not a bad thing, would much rather it be sensitive than not.

Bought this camera for my son as he travels every weekend. Installation was easy and the pic quality is great. Haven't run into any issues w/it. Very please with this little camera.

MAYBE NOT THE BEST OF FANCIEST DASH CAM BUT DOES A GREAT JOB, EASY TO OPERATE, AND SMALL ENOUGH FOR MY WINDSHIELD (DOESN'T GET IN THE WAY)

This camera has decent quality video. I found the instructions hard to follow and they didn't fully explain how to do the functions. The functions are not very intuitive either. I can normally figure things out without the instructions, but not this camera. I did well to figure it out with the instructions. I just had to do trial and error until I figured it out. It is sort of OK once I figured out most of the functions if I don't forget them over time.

I'm a public school Driver's Education instructor and I purchased this for our Driver's Ed car. I wanted a tool I could use with the students to allow them to actually see how they were driving. I, also, wanted to be able to have a way of allowing the class to, maybe, see situations other students faced that they may not get to face. We, also, use this camera for liability protections. If an accident should occur, then we have visual evidence of what happened. It, also, allows me to have a classroom monitor inside the vehicle.

Great little camera. The quality of the recordings are fantastic for the price. I really couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended, especially if you catch it on sale.

I love this camera. It has excellent video forward and very good video to the rear. Easy to track down video history on a computer and I like the hands off feature when in service. I forget it's there but if I need video I have it :-)

So far so good... definitely want to read the manual on this one. Everything is there, but navigation can be a little confusing at first. The back facing camera does pretty good at catching stuff behind you too depending on the lighting. I got almost 40 hours of video on one 256gb SD card; front + rear. Audio is great - might even start a travel vlog. Watch out for "Open Box", apparently people are buying to to steal parts out of them... my first one was missing all the internal packaging and mounting hardware. Just took it back and got a non-open box one.

I guess it is a good thing that I have a basic idea of how these dash cams are supposed to work because this one arrived with only quick start info and it was clear the camera does more than the quick start told. I asked fro more information before starting out on a long trip and was told I;d be contacted with complete manual before the scheduled start of the trip -- in fact I was told that several times by someone professing to be support -- and never did get anything. So, as far as I've been able to use the thing, it has worked fine. I'm still somewhat at sea on what the extra features are or do.

Simple to connect, a bit confusing at beginning using the menu buttons. You can directly connect to cpu to view the videos...very good quality front and back. For rear view recording, it will depend on your type of vehicle on how much coverage you'll get, also if sunlight shines from rear, then won't get clear view (really no way around that). Records once powered, get the max micro SD available if planning long trip or dont delete recordings often.

Great value, it’s 2 cameras in 1. It’s easy to operate and even though it’s not 4k, video is still clear enough for most situations. I’m impressed, for the price it delivers!

We bought a name brand camera about a year ago and unfortunately it broke but when my husband put in the Insignia dash cam, he said the quality was 10 times better and it was half the price. Definitely pleased with the Insignia brand!

This camera is high quality and the definition is fantastic! Not a whole 5 stars due to the specific version of sd card needed.

Although small, this dash cam has amazing features. Great quality video and pictures, from both front and rear. Great angle capture! Very easy to setup and connect to the cigarette lighter in the car.

Unfortunately you need all the proof you can now with accidents. Inexpensive but works well

It is not too big, the size fits perfectly in my car. It is also easy to use.

Good quality with great pictures & easy to install. I have not viewed how the recording loops if I choose other than Picture in Picture mode so not sure if the rear facing camera records separately or at all unless choosing pip mode. The screen seems smaller than other brands but serves its purpose I bought another brand for myself that has only 1 camera, thought the 2-camera dash cam would be great for wife’s Jeep. Seems the rear camera is more for inside vehicle rather than what is behind vehicle

Good videos. Mount loosens in hot weather. Good value for the price.
