The camera has a fairy decent quality in the day time but the quality at night isn’t that good. All you can see is just a few feet ahead of you. The camera mount also doesn’t stay on the window very well when it the window gets hot. Also the camera has to slide onto the camera mount which doesn’t have a locking mechanism so the camera can fall off if you think turn to sharply

I bought this to install in my vehicle due to having a long commute (28 miles one way) for work. (And after having been subpoenaed as a witness to a crash that occurred in said commute.) I was extremely impressed with the clarity, and even more so with its nighttime performance. It’s only drawback is it’s mounting system: The USB power cord hits on the mount, making it a bit difficult to get the camera fully seated on the mount. This does cause it to separate and slip off of the mount over rough roads. I finally mounted it firmly on the mount, with the USB plugged in, before sticking the mount to the windshield, and have not had any other issues since. When it is fully seated on the window mount, you will hear a audible “click”, and feel it lock into place. Overall, a very impressive camera, for a very reasonable price point.

I use this daily just in case of accident. It a great tool for that, basically "an undeniable witness". The price on sale is unbeatable for what you get. Great quality video. Night video is weak though. It is a 1 to 5 minute loop recorder, Saves the 5 minute clips going back 5 hours. Plus you have a button to save any "EVENT" if there is one you want to ensure is saved. The reason, it’s 4 stars, is due to suction cup design. It has a tendency to fall from window, especially due to summer heat. You can’t flip to dash mount as camera can’t be flipped. Note: Requires SD card to save the loop recordings. Requires power from USB cable.

For such a compact camera, the image quality is very good, even viewed on a high-res computer monitor. I wish a lens cap was included. Two things bother me about the device. The internal battery loses its charge and returns to the factory settings if you don’t drive the car EVERY day. That means that you have to repeat setting the day, date and time each time you get in the car. I’ve started bringing it indoors and plugging it into a charger every night, which is a nuisance. Also, the slot where the camera connects to the windshield mounting bracket is VERY flimsy, and frankly, doesn’t work very well.

This product is very efficient very good for the price good quality the only think is it doesn't come with micro sm card you have to buy separately And the little thinks for the cable holders ..

We bought this on sale as we wanted a dash cam, but didn’t want to pay a lot. The picture is very clear. At night it records like most other cameras, black and white, and the picture is a little fuzzy but we didn’t expect it to be like in the daytime. You clearly see the color of the lines on the road using the headlights though.

Easy to use, the picture is clear and small enough so your view is not being blocked. I bought one for my son too and he likes it. I feel safer knowing I have video available if I am in an accident. The automatic motion makes me know if anyone is messing with the car

My husband kept bugging me to get dash cams for our trucks and one day when I was in Best Buy I saw these on sale so I picked 2 up. I have to say these are totally worth having in your vehicle! The dash cam was easy to set up, takes great video and has been very handy especially after hitting a deer! If you are in the market for a dash cam I would totally recommend this one!

Purchased for use in a big rig. Picture/Video quality is really great. For a cheap dash cam it’s not too bad. Wish it would run without having to be constantly plugged in.

The install was easy for my Toyota Corolla. Covenient, window mount with great hold. I will say I did not mount behind my mirror but rather at an angle on passanger side window. Picture quality great, great field of vision 130 degrees, discreet, convenient loop recording and hassle free for a mom on the go. The only negative is the usb plug location. Took some fanagling with where I wanted mounted, but worked well and cord may be little short for behind mirror mounts (about 5-6 feet)

I was I little bit skeptical about this little dash cam but I took the chance any way. I’m impressed for the video quality that this cámara has for the price... not to good video in night time but that’s understandable. At night time you can still see what’s in front of you when you play the video. It records in 1 minute fragments and very easy to set up.

Like the title suggests, the camera quality in the daytime is fantastic for the price point of the camera. The resolution is high enough, and the image never over or underexposes. However, the nighttime quality is downright embarrassing. The picture is grainy in all weather conditions. Because of this, my headlights always reflect off of the license plates of the cars in front of me, meaning that there's no way for the camera's sensor to be able to read the plates, which completely defeats the purpose of having a dash cam. I'd recommend spending the extra money on a better dash cam.

It is a great camera for the price, easy to install and good picture quality. I'm very happy with the camera.

Great little item at a good price. Easy to install in the car and nice to have the video to review. Need to purchase an SD card separately though.

I've had this camera for a couple of weeks now and so far so good. The picture quality is good enough to clearly pick up license plate numbers when close or stopped, but also some other times while moving. Even when I have driven towards the sun in the morning and afternoon to and from work the glare from the sun isn't bad, so you can still see what happens if there is a accident. Also, the power cord provided was more than long enough to hide the wire in my interior panels around to my rear view mirror. I can't compare it to any other dash cameras since this is my first one, but for the price I think this one is a good value and does what I need it to do.

I purchased both this camera and a Roav for my other vehicle. This camera was much less than the Roav and works much better. I would highly recommend this camera. It does what it is supposed to do and is easy to operate. Will not drain your car's battery.

Basic dash cam. Does it’s job. Video is good quality. Easy set up. Power plug is tight fit to mounting bracket.

This dashcam is extremely easy to setup and to use and the quality of the picture is as advertised.

Great entry level DashCam. Easy hookup in the car, easy to transfer the video and pictures to my computers hard drive. Settings are easy to adjust. Overall a great buy for my first DashCam experience.

I have been using this camera for about 5 months and it works great. It was super easy to set up and the picture is good. It starts right up in the morning even in the cold Wisconsin winter. I have had no issues and I would for sure buy this product again.
