i have tried coupe of other dash cam this one seems to be working better, it has a bigger screen to view, camera does not work with out plug in. couple of things i do not like is their is no zoom option and the charger is too close to the mount so its hard to plug it in and unplug it, charger is bend when is plugged in, its right next to the adjuster where you tighten the camera angel.

Been using it for 3 weeks and would definitely buy it again. Pretty cool what this camera catches and the quality is great. If your looking to purchase a camera that is inexpensive and great quality for a lower price this is it.

For those on a budget this is a great starter dash cam. You must buy a micro sd card for this, up to 32GB, it does not come with one. It records in 1080P video with audio. The suction cup is sufficient. I have not had it fall down. It does the job.

The dash cam is easy to install and program. It has an excellent picture on the screen. I would recommend this for a friend and may even buy a second one for my other car.

Great product for the price easy to use easy to set up

I've used the Insignia Full HD Dash Cam for a month and found that it works as advertised. Although the camera only accepts a 32 gb card, several hours of video can be captured. The power cord uses a micro USB cable which may be useful if I want to attach a battery to the camera and capture video while parked. The camera can be attached directly to a computer for downloading video. The video stream is reasonably clear and will capture a 3 lane highway as well as the grass on either side of the road. So far nothing interesting has happened while I drive, but I'm happy to have a camera that will capture the view if I need it.

My wife bought this camera to record the inside of the vehicle for an extra margin of safety because she's a LYFT driver (similar to Uber or a taxi service). While the camera worked great during the day you could barely see anything at night even with the lights on in the car. Night recordings were very grainy. So for our intended purpose, I wouldn't recommend this camera.

it is small enough to fit nicely behind the rear view mirror and not get in the way of your vision. one touch picture taking in case of an emergency is nice too. resolution is pretty good for the price as well. only down side is that you have to buy the micro as card separate, other than that I would have rated 5 stars.

I had the camera for less than 8 days. I like the image quality and the set up but for some reason it starts to lock up/freeze to the point you have to unplug it and wait for the power to drain off then plug back in to get it working again. This is totally random when it does it but it increasing in happening in the last 3 days.

Quality is good for the price. It only records for like 10 min and then starts a new video file. Good I suppose when you actually need it for an incident. I know there are better video quality cameras out there. Would recommend for the price.

So far the camera has worked excellent, especially since it was one of the deals of the day. Quality seems good and works as described.

I bought this camera because the price point was in my range and I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of video taken and ease of use.

This thing dies exactly what you want. Records clear easily viewable video from my car. Captures everything and gives me piece of mind while driving in Seattle area. Can not tell you how much I wish I had one before this. I will never drive any of my cars again without one though. I set mine for 5 minute intervals and it saves about 100 plus videos before starting to write over oldest ones.

The dash cam is exactly as described and I am very excited about my purchase. The picture is clear and the set up is clear and easy.

Great item. Compact and easy to set up. Can even read license plates. Considering the price the quality is very good.

This camera records quality video and audio. When someone is talking to me outside the car, it also picks up the audio well. Audio/video records onto the card automatically. You can select a video to be "downloaded" which is essentially copied into a different folder so that it isn't overwritten. I bought a large card which also gives me plenty of video without it being overwritten.

I drive a lot for my job and this was very easy to set up and the images are very clear for the price point.
