This is the first one that had a couple of minor defects that caused bubbles in the film. It does not affect the performance of the Kindle, but I will probably replace if it bothers me.

Either this option needs to be updated or removed as an option for an add on purchase. This item does not fit as described due to the item being to long and to narrow. Please do not be mislead after purchase. Lokk at what generation you are purchasing before adding this item.

I simply could not get out the few bubbles that appeared. When I attempted a do-over I ended up with no adhesive. Wasted money. If they would install this in the store, I would purchase again, but in the absence of a guaranteed successful installation---not going to toss more money down the drain.
