It gave an extra amount of security since the kindle was to be used by a friend who is a resident of an assisted living facility. I did notice that she had to tap on the icons a bit harder, but it was just a matter of getting used to it.

Worth the price

My 2 boys (ages 10&7) are rough on everything, so this has helped to keep their tablet screens protected from dirty fingers and accidental drops or dings. I’ve had to replace these periodically, but it’s definitely worth it.

Thought installation would be easy since the screen protector is glass but ran into a hitch with a "quarter-sized" bubble in the middle of the screen that I have not been able to clear & too afraid to try removing & reapplying in fear the glass may break so the bubble remains. Would have given 5 ☆s otherwise.

I usually have to change the plastic ones every few months however I believe I made a great choice with this product. Won't have to change this and it's much easier to apply as well.

The screen protector will protect the Kindle tablet from scratches and damage and dirt very well also.
