My previous iPhone case was black and good if the phone falls. This case is thinner not meant for falls as much. I think I would buy it again. The price was not too expensive.

However I do use tempered glass screen protectors and lately I've been getting small cracks on those. But really small minor ones.

Also is raised around the screen so should help prevent a cracked screen from happening!
