The case is decent enough, it is designed as about as good as it needs to in order to offer the drop protection this should give for the price. The biggest flaw is the fact the glue holding the magnets in the MagSafe ring is super cheap and losens if in direct sunlight. The magnets come out of the case and stick to my phone, you cant even put it back in to line up with your phone because they keep lifting up as soon as you try to put your phone back in the case. Useless after 2 weeks.

Budget friendly phone case. Functions as designed. Nothing spectacular.

I learned the hard way not to try and use the trade in option Best Buy has with mobile carriers. I have Verizon and they didn’t have the phone and watch I wanted in stock, so I foolishly used the Best Buy app to trade in my old phone and watch. My purchase was ready for pick up and when I got in line, all panic ensued. A “code” was called because there weren’t enough employees to handle customers. The woman handling my trade in told me to keep my phone and I’d be sent a shipping label, but she took my watch. That didn’t happen and Verizon said I had to deal with this from Best Buy or I’d be the one charged. I went in the store and worked with an employee and eventually the manager, Ryan. They called and told me I would be sent a new shipping label to my house. That never happened. No one answers the store phone. I spent over an hour on chat with their customer service until I was told to call their customer service. I was told I could trade in the phone (for a fraction of the cost) with their company and I couldn’t return my products because it was outside of the date. Well yes, I explained to them I work 7 night shifts in a row and they kept blowing me off for weeks. When I told the representative that I needed to speak to the manager originally handling the situation…he hung up on me. In the last 4 months I’ve purchased a 75 inch tv, iPhone 16, Apple Watch 10, AirPods, and screen covers/lens protectors/phone cases through Best Buy. The products in question were purchased 10-23 (less than a month ago). A friend warned me not to give my business to them for this same reason and I didn’t listen. I wish I could return all of my products and spend my money elsewhere, but they’ve made it clear it’s too late for a refund and they aren’t willing to try to fix things. I won’t spend another dime there.

Expensive for a hard shell case. Can find something cheaper

The buttons are hard to press. The case itself just feels like a $5 cheap case on Amazon. No where near worth the $24 their asking for. Dont recommend. If you want a cheap horrible case, just buy on Amazon.

Beginner it’s ok just basic not stylish at all it’s ok

This case from Insignia is a good, simple solution if you want a “minimalist” case that still allows you to enjoy all of the features of MagSafe and show off your iPhones actual color. I’ve always been frustrated that most phone cases, in an effort to protect your phone, compromise the experience by hiding the phone color while making the magnetic back panel and sometimes even the wireless charging capability non-functional or lessened. No compromise with this case. If your number one concern is protection, this may not be the case for you. While it’s definitely better than nothing, there are other cases with more drop protection. However, unless you’re extremely rough on phones, I think this case should serve you just fine. It doesn’t overlap the screen or interfere with screen protector borders and offers significant enough protection for most people. I especially appreciate the value for money of this case, it’s very reasonably priced and well made. This case is definitely more well made than other cheaper options that are available from other retailers. I’m very happy with the case and glad that I have something now that feels well made, allows me to use the MagSafe feature, and doesn’t cover up my phone completely all while providing good protection for every day use. Love it.

In the world of phone cases, particularly iPhone cases, it's difficult to do something that will stand out, cases are a dime a dozen and for the most part they have similar features and capabilities, it comes down to looks and brand preference. That said, this is another decent entry that does what it says it will and lets you maintain the look of your iPhone without compromising the integrity of the protection. Packaging: To start, as with most cases, it's in a fairly basic cardboard box, it showcases the case and isn't difficult to open. Does the job without any frills, it's expected but it works. Fit: It fits the iPhone 16 Pro Max perfectly, the cutouts all match exactly as intended without interference, it also does not interfere with the screen protector installed on the device (a glass screen protector that I didn't order with any intent of being careful with whatever case I chose, so it's a good thing that it fits without being annoying. MagSafe: A giant chunk of the available iPhone cases ave magsafe capabilities and this one does as well, it's outlined by the obvious ring on the backside and gets the job done, this allows you to charge your phone with a magsafe charger through the case without compromising the functionality of MagSafe. It works well and as intended. Overall: There's not a lot to say, it's a decent clear case, fits well and has magsafe, if this is the aesthetic you're looking for, it's a good option and I would recommend it.

I got this cae for my wife's iphone. It is crystal clear, so the color of the phone is displayed nicely. The box is easy open, slides right open to the right and the case comes out, solid feel and good ribbed rubber edge for a good grip that can absorb an impact, and the lip of the sides goes above the level of the screen by enough that if you phone were to fall face first, it would keep the screen from hitting the ground. The cover slides on easily enough and is very secure. It worked well with her magnetic holder and socket and wireless charger. The claim is help protect from drops of 8 feet, I hope she never tests it. The buttons line up well and the access to the slider is good. The cost on this is very competative, and quality of feel is good compared to another one she got from the carrier, possibly a little less cost. These also appear readily available in most stores. Overall 5 stars, nothing to deduct points for. As always, best buy's in house brand is a reliable pick. I’ve had many things from cables to tv’s with the insignia label, all are good and so is thus.

This is an excellent case for any budget. The build quality is great and every bit as good as you would get in a “premium” brand’s case. Insignia has come a long way and this is a case I will actually use. I really appreciate the MagSafe capability - a premium feature that is usually reserved for higher-end cases. The plastics used here are as good as and if not better than most of the brands I have sampled. The fitment to your phone is very tight and custom and once your phone is installed, it will not fall out. It is very sturdy. Unfortunately, the case finish is extremely prone to scratching however, I cannot fault that too much because other finishes are available and they do not scratch as easily as the clear finish I’m using. If you’re worried about scratches, I would choose a more matte finish. The bottom line is that if you’re looking for a minimalist and slimline phone case option, you will really enjoy Insignia’s efforts and I feel it is a viable alternative to more pricy solutions.

With each new generation of iPhone comes a slurry of cases, and Insignia has been releasing more and more as of late. I was intrigued by this Hard-Shell Case with MagSafe. I haven't had a clear case in years, but used to really enjoy them for showing off the true color of the iPhone underneath. So how does this one stack up? The hard-shell case arrived neatly packed in paper packaging without any plastic wrap, making it all recyclable. The case slid out and went on to my phone easily. It may be hard to tell from the photos but the case has a solid back and flexible TPU edges, which I was pleased to see. I've always thought this combination offers the best of both worlds. The edges of the case are clear like the back, but they're textured all around and feature some neat internal structures for the buttons and corners that you can easily see. It's perhaps a bit busy, but the lines offer a nice grip, and the overall package is thinner and lighter than I expected. The back of the case is clear, but with visible micro-dot texture, which I'm guessing is there to keep the plastic from adhering to the back of the phone and showing little bubbles. The requisite MagSafe outlines are there in white, and while I wish they came in black to mach my iPhone, they blend really well with the rest of the clear case. More importantly the magnets buried within are very strong, attaching quickly and securely to all my accessories and chargers. I wasn't sure about this case from the images but after putting it on my phone it's become my favorite of the cases I have so far. It's both minimal and stylish, and really feels good in the hand. It's protective without being too heavy or clumsy, and just different enough to stand out. My only complaint with this case is the buttons are fairly stiff. They haven't loosened much after a week or so of use, but maybe a bit longer and they will. This doesn't really bother me, as it prevents accidental presses, but if you're picky about button feel I recommend trying this case in store before you commit. The last thing I'll say is, being a clear case with clear edges, you should expect yellowing over time. While I like the see-through edges, I'll say that in my experience a clear back with colored edges hides the yellowing from use much better. With the back being hard plastic, though, I'm hoping it won't yellow much if at all. With that said, I really like this case, more than I thought I would. It's stylish, grippy and protective, and the MagSafe magnets work great. The buttons could be a little clickier, but this case is absolutely worth a look for your new iPhone 16 Pro.
