I have it hooked up to my Roku which is hooked up to my TV & the audio out of this box is plugged into an older receiver which doesn't have any HDMI inputs.

Great for hooking up my surround sound

I was having trouble getting my surround sound to work with my projector, but this allowed me to split the HDMI video signal to the project and the audio to the soundbar for the surround sound. I also bought it as an open box item and it was packaged and looked brand new.

However, not happy that the one I purchased two years, with little usage, does not work. I hope that this one will work longer.
