This device solves it with the signal from the hdmi and sent it. The small package made it very convenient in hideaway spot.

This box performs that function to give me a separate digital audio output to the surround sound system.

You have to get one of these to get the audio out. An inconvenience but it works. I wish i would've got a 2 or 3 hdmi port.

Unfortunately, it did not work due to this particular Bose system is only compatible with computers, Ipads, & laptops.

This device is a waste of money. IT DID NOT WORK! No wonder there were 5 open box units available and only one new in Box. “Now there will be 6 open box SKUs available. Because I’m sure BEST BUY WILL JUST PUT THIS NON WORKING RETURN BACK ON THE SHELF.
