    Image sometimes goes out overall does what is says new consoles don’t have optical port so this lets you use Astro headset.

    Hard to rate this fairly. I want to set up TV ears and could not get them to work. I bought this device as my last shot to get them to work. While they work, I could not get surround sound, it dropped back to stereo. I returned it, not because the product was bad, but it just didn't do what I wanted it to do.

    This unit worked perfectly for my need which is to separate the analog audio from the digital video. Worked perfectly as soon as I plugged it in. Tried various other methods but that digital signal needs a little power to be transformed and this unit does it.

    I hooked it up correctly but it does not work. I think maybe I will have to call samsung and ask how to adapt the tv in order for your audio extractor to work. I cannot adequately answer the other questions before accomplishing the aforementioned. If you have an solution for me let me know.

    was having problems with Roku Ultra connection to sound bar through HDMI ports. This device allowed me to plug in to soundbar and not lose video/audio sync. super simple set up and no problems from day 1
