I use the 3.5mm output on the back to feed audio to a portable speaker when I take my PS5 with me on the go. No problems yet!

HDMI - audio extractor (INCREDIBLE product)

I have a BOSE lifestyle 28 system which does not have an HDMI input so when I bought my projector I needed to figure out how to get sound from BOSE when using the Projector. This audio extractor has an optical output which I use to connect to the BOSE via optical input. The sound is great.

I get an HDMI converter cable, and the big picture is great!!! But I couldn't hear anything as my monitor is picture only. This item to the rescue! Exactly what I needed. Clear sounding on my headphones.

Everything worked great until I tried to watch a movie. This product DOESNT SUPPORT 4K at 24hz. (Standard for most 4k video) if im wrong or set it up incorrectly, my bad, but I dont think I am. As soon as I hook it up my xbox says it doesnt support 4k @24hz

Now blue-ray movie audio can go through my vintage 250W home theater system. One other good feature to note, when not powered up, HDMI audio passes through to the TV as if the extractor wasn't there.

Throughput Capped at 60fps

The 4K/HDR throughput is great but it’s capped at 60fps. Keep that mind if buying for the same reason. Other than that, the device works great. I recommend this to anyone that wants the option for optical audio for peripherals that lack the port.
