I buy to play video games at home the pandemic was not joke !!!

What more can you ask for? Its sturdy and functional. Its just black. No bling. Its not overbuilt. Its just a 3' HDMI extension. I use it as basically a quick manual switch for devices I want to use at my desk. Rather than hunting around for the hard to reach port that is oriented vertically and situated behind the stand of my monitor, I simply have this tail I can bring out when I'm in a "switching mood". Allows me to quickly swap in a game machine or a laptop or a tablet or a streaming device pretty much at a whim, without being subject to the weird auto switching "glitches" of most HDMI switchers and certainly at a much lower cost. Speaking of which, this particular example of this sort of cable is the cheapest I've found at retail. Sure, you can find cheaper on-line, but if you're not buying a bundle of things, shipping can kill your savings, waiting can make it not worth it, and sometimes disappointing quality can just ruin everything. This way, if you were to actually have a problem, Best Buy is right there to help.

HDMI cable extender works great - just as stated - extends an HDMI cable's length - for example, new house I moved into already had 4 HDMI cables run through the wall in the family room, but are short (devices have to be sitting on a shelf) - no way to make them longer without re-running through the wall - extender made it so I could easily connect other devices (like for instance, my old PS3), and just leave it sitting on the floor, then just disconnect when finished - no signal quality degradation

Some devices or consoles include the minimum required standard 3’ HDMI cable, but sometimes you need a longer cable but you don’t want to have excess from a 9’ or 12’ cable lying around. Another bonus is that you can use this extension unit on any of your other Hdmi TVs in other locations in your home with little or no hassle of having to fish through or disconnecting wires and cables behind the tv stands. This is a great product.

I originally purchased this item when I mounted a TV at my house and needed extra length on the cords. Recently updated an old 6 disc cd player double DIN factory head unit in my 4Runner with a newer unit that has HDMI in ports to connect and mirror your phone for netflix and other streaming services. This extender immediately came to mind. It allowed for everything to be ran behind the dash and for all the cords to be placed in the glove box.

My wife and I had some drinks last week after a dinner party and one thing led to another,....woah. We ran to our room and I clicked on the TV for some lighting. She wanted to be tied up and I could not find any rope so I ripped my HDMI Cable Extender off of the back of the TV and tied up her wrists. About a minute later I untied her and plugged it back in so I could watch Black Panther. The picture that HDMI provides is unbelievable. Highly suggest using this cord if you need a longer HDMI cable.

The existing TV's HDMI cable needed a cable extender. The Geek Squad agent suggested and offered to return for a in house visit to connect the extender. The extender allowed for repositioning of the stacked components. I am very satisfied the agent's return visit to connect the extender and to recheck all connections. The HDMI extender worked perfectly.

We used this to extend an HDMI cable running from my son's gaming computer to a tv in his room. Basically utilizing the TV as a third monitor. It works great. No lag or degradation to the graphics, gaming or picture. We weren't sure if 3 feet wuld be enough but it was more than enough. Great alternative to buying a longer more expensive HDMI cable.

I have several HDMI cables that are used between the TV and the various electronics. My DVD player was on a far side of my cabinet and was a little short. This cable was great to add that needed couple of feet. It was cheaper than buying a new longer cable. I do NOT notice any lose of signal.

I recently upgraded my DVD player and then my Receiver, so I had a few cables that needed to be upgraded. My TV is about 10 years old and still has DVI input. I also reorganized my whole set up, so I needed an extension to add onto the DVI to HDMI cable from my TV to the Receiver, so this inexpensive extension cable was a perfect purchase.

This has worked great for me to attach to the roku streaming stick. the stick doesn't fit into the enclosed compartment. with this extender, the cable comes out of the casing and I have the stick attached to the back of the TV

This Cable extender was perfect for my Amazon Firestick. The FireStick comes with an extender but it is way too short and does not fit with my TV. The cable extender worked perfectly and at 3 feet, it is a perfect length.

I didn't get this item to free up my HDMI ports, I got it so I can USE my HDMI ports. The tv that my wife and I have in our bedroom has the ports on the back, and you can only acces them from below. That's not a problem for any of our electronics with an HDMI cable, but for our Roku streaming stick? We could never use it with that tv because the Roku doesn't fit in the little cutout, which was a huge disappointment when we had the day off and wanted to just hang out in bed for a few hours and watch some Netflix. However, I saw this and wondered why I didn't know about it sooner. Now we don't have to worry about any problems, because it's just like a regular HDMI cable.

used this item to extend HDMI from rear of tv to connect a fire stick in the front, to help with better wifi reception. 3 ft worked great, but you might consider longer one based on need, or if you need to get closer to an outlet.

This product really helped me out with my new tv. I barely got my HDMI to reach my old tv through the wall and when I got a new tv, this helped me reach the hdmi on my new tv. No change in the signal at all.

If you are trying to add a Roku stick or anything that requires HDMI that sticks out this will allow you to add it with still being able to keep you TV hanging flush against the wall. Highly recommend

I use this so I can stop going behind my tv to switch hdmi for different game systems or devices. Makes it a whole lot easier and I dont damage the hdmi cord to my system.

I purchased this extender to connect to my Amazon Firestick, which needed to be connected to my receiver. The so-called extender that came with the Firestick wasn't long enough for the unit to consistently catch the signal from the remote, because it was hidden behind the receiver, so I needed to get a longer cable. I purchased the Insignia HDMI Extender because it was in stock and at a reasonable price. I haven't had any issues with picture quality or of the unit failing to catch the remote signal and would recommend this product if you need to extend any HDMI devices.

I needed a few more inches in order for the TV in my RV to house a much needed DVD player. Works perfectly and now if we need to switch components we don’t have to reach behind the mounted television.
