Be careful with your purchase as you need one kind if device to go one direction, and you need an entirely different device to go the opposite direction. Look at your installation and read the product description carefully and you will be okay. Set up is straight forward; just plug and play.

I used this for a Nintendo Switch. This caused the graphics to get blurry which did affect gameplay. It also affected audio volume, which decreased substantially. As a last resort, it works ok, but I'd get an HDMI switch next time.

I was able to stream movies from my computer to an old Television set in a South American country. It was quite nice to do so while visiting family and being locked down due to Covid spikes.

Finally I bought this adapter and installed the roku with hdmi out. I resolved the issue. I think they sell les inexpensive versions of this set up out there but I trust BestBuy to sell the best quality
