    I have an older Sony TV on the guest room. I use a smart DVD player and was able to connect using this devise. The TV has such excellent picture cannot see throwing it away

    It does the job as intended, the only negative is the quality of the video. Chances are it's not the fault of the product but just the fact that when you convert an hd digital signal to an analog that's what happens.
