The other device quite (i.e. stopped syncing) in my churches setup from PC with HDMI output to a projector with composite inputs (yes its old but you make due with what you have). So far there have not been any issues with this device, therefore I can recommend its use if you have a similar older rig.

Exactly what I needed for older tv

With this converter I was able to hook up to that same new cable box to get both sound and video. The picture quality is stunning.

Needed to hook up ne device to old TV

I needed this to connect the Roku's HDMI to my old CRT TV. It does the trick.

It functions very well with the exception of audio in regards to CBS All Access--sound is just white noise. All in all I have been happy with it.

It was quick and went together easily with existing equipment It works well with the Aquos TV I got second-hand and hooked up my DVD with no problem. The TV wasn't made for it, but the converter made it happen!

Once I got it hooked up I was able to get on video with my firestick but I was unable to get audio other than Xtreme static and popping and loud clicking. I tried all the troubleshooting and nothing worked so I had no choice but to return the product to the store as it would not work. I suspect the problem was my audio video red white and yellow connections on the TV and not the product. The goal was to get HDMI so I could watch the firestick on an old box TV.

I was able to use this to get a firestick connected to a 15 year old projector for our home theater. The only thing that I'd add to it would be an optical port, but this worked perfectly.

When I got rid of the satelite dish & went to streamimg only the Roku streaming device needed an HDMI input in order to connect. The TV had every type of input except for HDMI. So when I saw this converted in Best Buy I thought I would give it a try because worse come to worse if it didn't work I could always return it. Miracle do happen I hooked it up to the TV then connected my Roku Express & it worked. I get a clear 1080i HD picture. And the best thing is the cost was minimal.

RCA converter rules with Roku

Digital HDMI in...analog RCA signal out...quality is compromised, while connectivity is accomplished.

The directions are accurate, but not necessarily clear. Through trial and error, I was able to connect this to my antenna. My confusion was which end of the connector was input vs. output.
