The connections are simple, and it powers on... but did not have any luck converting the signal. Not sure why, but I returned to the store.

Too bad it is not bi-directional, but for the price at the time of purchase, ~ $6, it was worth it.

However, the picture quality was less than ideal. Picture seemed grainy and the audio quality turned out to be rather noisy. With interference being a constant battle. Purchased to mirror my iPhone in vehicle when camping and tried to use maps but lack of detail made it to hard to read. After i had adjusted the picture qualityto the best available.
