Specific product for a specific purpose. A bit more expensive than I liked, but I was not able to find this product anywhere else in town and was unwilling to wait for delivery from an online order.

works as it should , long cord for adapter and worked with mg old school equipment!

I bought a cheaper version on eBay and it worked but the audio was so low that I had to crank the volume to max. Thought I would buy the more expensive one from Best Buy. I believe the video quality was slightly better and the volume might have been slightly higher,but wasn’t adequate for what i needed. I wanted to stream Disney Plus through my Chromecast to a DVD recorder. Worked how I wanted but problems stated above. I believe, because it happened on both, that reducing HDMI 1080 to RCA 480 is inherent to this setup but not to the Insignia product itself. I returned to the store.

Absolutely a much needed great product which allowed us to view old VHS tapes!!

It is what it is, so you plug and play, then you’re good to go.

Works great for my older tv just what I needed would buy again

I really returned this item because I ended up buying a new TV instead of converting my old one. But I'm sure if I opened the box and actually used it, it would have worked fine.

I was trying to hook up my old tv via HDMI and realized that was not the way to go. Needed to use this instead and it worked great. Now I can cast whatever I want to the old tv.

Very easy to set and use for professional presentations.

It works, but the audio level is really weak. Extracts a decent picture @ 720p. Wish I could adjust the output level.

I purchased this to add a fire stick to my 10 year old projector. It allowed me to use the fire stick. I had to turn the HD sound off on the fire stick to hear movies recorded in hi def

good day . thank you for the opportunity to have a voice in our great store . my wife and i have supported our brand best buy for years a really love how we are up to date with latest tech and appliances . during these times we have opened a best buy consumer credit card to ease some of the pressure in income . love the free financing for 6 months ,12 months and so . you guys have made our lives better with this program ,with all this fluff said i since returned the rca converter,because it would not work as suggested by your team . this was a connection piece that was to connect the gift for grand daughter for the new tv for christmas gift , policy is 2 weeks to return well we were late and asked for store credit or anything was told no so i just left the piece there as you need it more than i. we will be closing account and move foward to offers from others thanks for the support with this small purchase and wish your brand luck in the future

Attempted to connect an N64 to every TV in the house (troubleshooting), and the device would not convert to HDMI. The connections are simple, and it powers on... but did not have any luck converting the signal. Not sure why, but I returned to the store.

The Insignia™ - HDMI to RCA Converter did not work for what I was trying to do. I wanted tv connect my headphones to my tv but it couldn’t be done

Great little device for playing videos from my HDMI-out ported laptop to legacy era big screen TV that only has RCA A/V inputs. Too bad it is not bi-directional, but for the price at the time of purchase, ~ $6, it was worth it.

This device worked exactly as needed from the original connection. I recommend it to anyone who needs to convert VGA to HDMI. Worth the money.
