The video was scrambled, and would only show every few frames and then only in odd colors. I was trying to get a Blu Ray player to work with an old projector for a classroom, and this was no help. I found a more simple plug and play option (no external power) on a different site which did work.

On top of selling me a defective product, Best Buy has a 14 day return policy that they would not honor on day 16. Hard to wait in long lines around the holidays so I waited - apparently too long.
