She needed to covert RCA to HDMI, to use some older devices with a new TV. The Best Buy salesperson gave her this. An HDMI to RCA converter. Who can use this nowadays? I suppose someone may have to use a blu-ray on a tube TV, but really? This should be a specialty item online, not the first thing they hand you in store.

THE PICTURE WAS A BLUR OF COLOR AND THE ONLY SOUND WAS AN EAR PIERCING SCREECH! TOOK IT HOME AND TRIED ON MY BLURAY AND TV WITH THE SAME RESULTS. UNFORTUNATELY BY THIS TIME IS WAS TOO LATE TO RETURN TO THE STORE SO I'M STUCK WITH A PIECE OF TRASH! DO NOT BUY!!

I tried to hook it up as directed but the sound quality dropped dramatically while having family over for an outdoor movie night. Luckily I saved the day with some old DVD player I had in the garage and wired all sorts of things to get good sound out of a blur tooth speaker. Do not buy.

Our very competent friend and installer had to putz to get it attached. DVD/Blu ray worked again. Yay. Next day no Netflix nor current Prime movies. just buzz and color stripes. W.T.....

Might have had a melt down I don't know. But all I know it was a hassle to get it all down and apart again !!!
