I needed an eARC but they never told me there was a difference. I returned this but they don't carry eARC. and THEN I did not get a refund receipt though I asked twice and now must protest the non-refund via my credit card co.

I bought one and it only let the sound go through in the left channel and it was very garbled with no picture. I exchanged it for a second one and it did not give any sound or picture. I would not recommend this item to anyone. Do not waste your $$$.$$ on it.

Did not work with my Fire TV stick 4K

I tried this into two different devices: a TV and a DVR. I have another similar unit of a different brand and there is no issue. So it's not the Fire TV stick or my TV. I had to return this unit. I will buy something else. Another thing is that other similar products offer the RCA (video, and two audio) cables integrated with the unit, so you don't need to find or buy them separately.

I tested it with different cables and connected to different equipment and it didn't work. I will be returning it.

She needed to covert RCA to HDMI, to use some older devices with a new TV. The Best Buy salesperson gave her this. An HDMI to RCA converter. Who can use this nowadays? I suppose someone may have to use a blu-ray on a tube TV, but really? This should be a specialty item online, not the first thing they hand you in store.
