Bad video quality coming out of you Took back returned it

The product did not work with my system there was no audio

It might be a good device and my tv was too old for it to work

Does not give a good picture at all worse than vhs

Need more work into converting process, too much static

A little bit of monkey business to get it to recognize the VCR but once it synched all is good

Could not be easier to connect. Keeps my old Toshiba in the game with a new Bluray player. Works perfectly! If you can't let go of an old set for whatever reason this gets the job done.

Absolutely the exact mod I was looking for! My new blue ray player did not have standard, old fashioned audio output jacks, but had two HDMI outputs... one for video and one for audio. This converter allowed me to watch discs with the audio emitting from my stereo system. Sounds awesome!!

It "worked" for me between an iPad Mini 4 and a 1080p LCD TV monitor with the audio cables going to my amp and the video cable going to the TV. However, I'm returning it, because the picture is too blurry for sheet music. I didn't realize that switching from digital to analog I would lose so much resolution. If I plug the HDMI cable directly into the TV, bypassing this converter, it looks great. From what I can gather, this degradation is expected, due to the digital to analog conversion. The audio sounded OK to me. Might work fine for some other applications.

Bought this product to stream to an old tube TV through a Sony BluRay player. The issue was the factory default settings on the BluRay player made reading the TV scene difficult and to set the correct resolution and other settings. Nearly gave up and ready to return, glad I stuck with it. Picture quality is as expected being 480P. Can buy online a similar product at a much lower price. BTW... most of the 1 star reviews are individuals that bought the wrong product as they were looking to go RCA to HDMI.

My mom wanted to cancel her cable subscription and decided to get Roku boxes. She had 2 older Tvs that didnt have HDMIs so after some research I decided to buy her 2 of these (one for each of her TVs). WOW, set up was VERY easy. Her pictures are clear, we didn't have any issues with static. She is very happy that she is now saving money. The price point, to me, seemed alittle high but I wont complain much because it work for what we needed it for and again set up was super easy. If you have an older TV and want to get rid of cable and start streaming, hook up game consoles, etc I definitely recommend this product.

This works great for connecting a TV with only RCA inputs to a streaming box with only HDMI output. I tried a converter that was advertised as HDMI to RCA (fom a different retailer) and had to send it back because it was RCA to HDMI. If you have an older TV and a newer streaming box, this is the way to go.

Great for hooking a Wii up to a modern tv. Worked great and good wuality

this worked great . with todays technology I was able to use this to record a digital testimony on to a DVD . It was an experiment on reverse technology . now I have a hard copy.
