Easy fix

Used this to hook new technology to my old projector. The kids like to watch movies in the summer outside against the house or garage door. I don’t mind taking my ancient projector out, but they were limited in what they could hook up to it. Now the sky is the limit. I’m assuming the picture is not as good as if it went straight through HDMI but since they are watching a late 90s projector on a stucco house or textured garage the quality through the connection is not our biggest issue.

Old + New tech working together

Its only "video IN" connectors are S-Video and RCA cables. (Side note: it does have an HDMI "video OUT" connection.). The Insignia HDMI to RCA Converter allows my computer to seamlessly play/record on the HDR/DVD. It works as quickly and efficiently as advertised! Connect an HDMI cable from computer to the Insignia on one side and the RCA cables from HDR/DVD to the other side and voila! Note: Insignia needs to be plugged into an outlet to make it work - the cord is included in package.

Great tool for connecting old technology to new

We wanted to record TV shows while we were out in the evening, but old VCR's don't have the connections for HDMI. This device allows us to use the RV Resort's and Direct TV/Dish TV signal and record programs.

A wonderful adapter

The AV cables just plug into this adapter and my Chromecast device plugs into the other end of the adapter. Plug your AV cables into your TV, connect the Chromecast to your phone with the internet and you are ready to stream!!!! I am so happy now! I’m sheltering at home watching all my favorite movies and TV shows with HULU and Netflix. It all works perfectly.
