The Insignia HDMI to RCA Converter is the 2nd item I used to allow VCR recordings from my streaming modem which only has one HDMI output port. The 1st item was a 2-Output HDMI splitter. This device takes one of the 2-Output HDMI signals and converts to the standard RCA outputs. I can then interface my VCR and recover the recording capability I had with my previous cable equipment. There is also an LED indicator to notify that the unit is powered up. Solved my problem!

This device was intended to take an older television with no HDMI slots and connect it to Sling, Hulu, Netflix, etc. It was previously hooked up to a satellite system. I used an Amazon firestick and it works perfectly. The TV had a nice screen and functional, so this made it more modern and accessible. I recommend it!

Excellent picture, easy to setup and use. No problem with connecting the vcr, digital box and dvd player

this is an amazing product works exactly as i was hoping it would. This devise made our road trip majorly different for our kids and of course for us as parents too.

I am using this to convert my Apple TV HDMI out to RCA because I do not have another HDMI input on my TV. I would recommend this product & cables if you have an old TV that does not have HDMI Inputs or on a TV that has NO HDMI Inputs available.

Bought this to connect an apple product to the car rear monitor, it only has RCA inputs and the apple cable it’s HDMI, it worked without any issues, the USB power cable makes it very easy tu use on the car. Recommend if you need an HDMI to RCA adapter this one works.

It works! Previous owners left some Old television in the basement that now houses our gym. I had forgotten how crapé and grainy these old TVs displays were! Anywho, it works connected my smart HDMI Sony DVD to this piece of television and bam! Netflix, Pandora and Prime when I finally get off my bottom to use the Elyptical!

Once again, good quality, but way, WAY overpriced. You can find this for as little as $15 on other websites. (Obviously, the quality probably wouldn't be as good though)

Excited I got this it works perfect in my tv. My tv now can play google chrome from it with out any issues.

If ykur like me and you have kids who are constantly unplugging a d plugging in they play console the HDMI ports some times get broken. As mine did. But if you figure out the cost to have a TV repair man come out versus buying this little box and hooking up that counsel by a different method it could save you hundreds of dollars. Very happy I found this little unit because it did just that saved me a ton of money.

I purchased this adapter because I have an old Panasonic television that I wanted to stream my computer off of at the house. It works great, has a good length to it so I can keep it out of the way of access/egress points around my house and neatly tucked around behind the TV to the computer. It was very reasonably priced, and very easy to find, I highly recommend this for people who have older televisions that they need HDMI adapters for streaming content.

Good solution for converting HDMI to Composite base band video and stereo audio. Video quality is actually very good. Higher quality than cheaper solutions.

Works well as advertised. For those with older tvs it will work great.

Had to buy this last minute because i have a chromecast and the tv at my time share is ancient. This came in clutch and i was able to watch everything i wanted... also i had to get the tri colored cables but it worked perfect !
