I do many presentations and sometimes I need to connect other people computer to my projectors. Every now and then there is an old computer that still connects via VGA, so having this adapter in my bag saves those presentations.

This adaptor helped me to connect two HP monitors to my HP tower. Otherwise I would not be able to use 2 monitors. Therefore this product is invaluable and I recommend it highly. It is much cheaper than the competition and works as well.

I have an older monitor that I wanted to continue to use, but the new laptop came with an HDMI port, not VGA. I figured somebody made an adapter, found this, bought it, plugged it in and I'm back to enjoying dual monitors.

I was adding a second computer at home, and the. Computer only had a VGA, or DVI connection on the back, and the monitor had a HDMI connect. Purchased this little puppy and it saved the day. Had it up and running in a matter of minutes. Easy to setup, and well worth the purchase.

I use this to connect a vga monitor to my xbox one, works perfectly fine. Also use randomly for roku. Never had any problems with it that I can think of. Plug and play function. If you have issues, then replace since it might give you issues long term. Had this 7 months and still going.

My new laptop doesn't have the standard VGA connections for a computer projector. I was going to give a workshop in a school, and I needed to have the audience see my PowerPoint slides and my live web searching. I went to Best Buy and got some great help from a sales guy on the floor to select this product. It works great!

This adapter is good for attaching a new computer (iMac for example) with an older monitor or TV. It works very well although resolution is not as good as connection with the newer monitors or TVs.

Easy to use. Just plug your vga cord to your tv, then plug into this device. Plug the device into your hdmi port on your computer your done. Easy to use, great reception, no flickering or anything like that. Instant connection. Highly recommended if you have an older flat screen like me. Cheaper than buying a new tv.

I'm working from home and wanted to add a second monitor for my laptop. This worked very well to connect an old VGA monitor to the laptop HDMI port and is about $100 less than having to purchase even a cheap new monitor. Very easy to plug and go!

At our recent conference, we were able to accommodate several presenters who wanted to use their own computer with this product. We bought regular tv's and were able to use this in our "train" of cords to connect everyone's different computers. It seemed to work well when we hooked them up!

My son uses this for his homeschool, and stem projects. The graphics are beautiful and so sharp. It works flawlessly, and is such a great change from pc. I can see this computer serving him well for a very long time.

Worked as intended. Allowed connection of my HDMI work laptop to my older non-HDME monitor. Could then use laptop in dual monitor mode. Allowed increased productivity by having email on the laptop display and other programs on larger monitor.

...IT WORKS! I did not expect it to work. It's important to remember that a VGA signal does not carry sound, so if you're working with a monitor or projector to play a video, you must make some other arrangement to play the sound signal from your video.

I came to best buy because I was trying to connect very new technology (new laptop) with old technology (shared keyboard and mouse with another older computer). I worked with the associate and finally arrived at this product. Plugged it in and it worked right out of the box.

Perfect adapter and did what I needed it to do. Had an older projector and only an HDMI port on my laptop and this worked well. This obviously will not transmit audio and a headphone jack was used, but I haven’t seen a projector with a decent audio sound for a larger room

A classroom cannot be the same without technology. When my LCD projector went on the blink, the budget offered a replacement but did not come with a cable. Good ol' Best Buy had what I needed. Works great - I do wish they had discounts for teachers.
