Bought the Insignia - HDMI to VGA adapter to connect my laptop and an older 22" monitor. Needed The monitor didn't have HDMI connections. This works great. Easy to connect.

Purchased this adapter to connect an older gateway monitor to my work laptop while working from home. This adapter is lightweight, relatively small and very easy to connect. The adapter works as expected with good image quality.

Those product does exactly what is needed at an affordable price. The only issue one may have is the length of the cord, but it is in the description so it is not misleading. Would purchase again if in need with no hesitation.

I was able to connect my new lap top to my older projector with no problems. A very economical way to fix my problem. I did not want to put more money out for a item I hardly use with more TV's available as a larger viewing monitor.

I bought a cheaper at Walmart and had to return it because it did not work. I'm much happier with this product. It is worth the extra money for this product. One other thing you need with this product is another cable to make it work.

We received new lap tops at work that were unable to connect to our dual screens because the lap tops had the incorrect ports. Buying this adapter fixed that issue and I love that it is small so I can transport it back and forth from home to work. Works great.

We purchased this adapter to facilitate an extended screen for my laptop. As an instructor, having two screens to view assignments is a huge help. I've been using this steady for 2 1/2 months, and it's working great without any issues.

Just got this today because I wanted to connect my work laptop via hdmi to my monitor and the monitor only has 1 hdmi port. The other port is vga. Unfortunately my other device to connect to that same monitor doesn’t have a vga port. It’s an old win 7 HP pavilion desktop converted to a chrome book. Anyway the HP has hdmi, DisplayPort and DVI ports. So this adapter allowed me to connect my hdmi port out of the HP to a vga cable that I could then connect to the monitor vga port. I don’t see any degradation of quality compared to the hdmi connection that I had it connected with prior. So all is good as long as it lasts!

Purchased this adapter because it was cheap and readily available at my local Best Buy. However, I did not know that this one requires additional power to use, It was not specified on the packaging. Other than that Love this adapter to connect my chromebook and laptops to my older projector

This adapter has been great. Im able to hook upmy laptop to an older monitor. And since my surgery have been able to work at home with three monitors.

Wife needed to hook her laptop up to another monitor to write papers for school and view other docs on a separate screen. We found this one open box for a couple bucks off of the original price and it worked perfectly just as expected.

this adapter allowed me to use an older monitor with a PC that did not have a VGA connector. No problems were encountered and plugging the unit into The PC as a plug and play device.
