I used the adapter to connect my laptop that has only HDMI and USB ports to a VGA connector to a projector. I just connected it and booted up the computer and it worked perfectly. It sent the picture at the right size and scale. It worked instantly and flawlessly. I tried one I bought online first and it didn't send the picture anywhere near the right size. This one worked flawlessly every time. It was the only one I found available that did the job.

I purchased this to connect to my lenovo l380 laptop so I could use a second monitor. Docking stations cost hundreds of dollars, and this was for a spare at home Easy to connect and works with by VGA monitor well. Has some issues staying connected on the HDMI input, and needs tightening if you happen to jostle it from the input port. For the cost it has save me time and provided a cheap second monitor connection.

It's a great product, I needed to use it for a power point presentation and it worked great. Highly recommend.

When upgrading my new computer, I wanted to have my old computer running too. I had a spare keyboard and old VGA video monitor. However, the old computer only had HDMI and DVI video adapters. Unfortunately, the VGA adapter than I had bought from another company didn't work. Bought the Best Buy adapter (which was less expensive than the old adapter) and it worked straight out of the box with my old computer and older VGA monitor.

Simple and easy to use, bought 2 of them and it’s a great way to convert a hdmi to vga.

A quick fix to an old VGA flat screen monitor and HDMI Raspberry pi computer. Instead of spend a ton of money to replace the monitor, this adapter hooks HDMI to his computer giving extended life to the obsolete device. Hooks up easily and the screen is clean and clear (obviously an older monitor is NOT 4k or HD) but doesn't show issues with the down conversion. Excellent product for the cost!

I'm using this adapter to connect my laptop to an external monitor, to give me two monitors to view at a time. It has a good connection, the only issue is that the cable from monitor has screws to tighten into this adapter, but the adapter doesn't have any connections for such a configuration, so it can sometimes come apart.

My wife has to work occasionally from home. She has two monitors set up to work with a Dell docking station. After her company provided her with a new laptop which is NOT compatible with the docking station, we had to come up with an alternative. The laptop has a VGA port which took care of one monitor. This adaptor was the perfect solution for the second as it fits in the laptop's HDMI port.
