I bought it when my company moved to work from home, and I needed an adapter to use for my second screen. My PC is a HP Envy 17t (2015) model and the monitor is a 2010 model. Even my spouse was able to use it with her MacAir and a separate dock with no fuss. Pleased with the device.

This Works Very Well

I'm on the computer all day for work and a large screen really helps, but I use two separate laptops and I don't have room on my desk for two large screens. With this connector, I just have to push a few buttons to change which laptop is currently displaying on the monitor.
