My monitor had been connect to my old computer with it cable. The new desktop didn't have the same type of connection.

Adapter for PC

I was needing to find a way to connect my monitor to my PC. When removing monitor from the box I did not verify the most important thing the cable type. The monitor can only connect with a VGA port. The PC being newer it came with no VGA port. The monitor and my computer were not a match. This adapter saved me time and money. It works wonderfull and was easy to connect to the monitor.

The fact that a customer has to argue with a computer before finally talking to a person and the fact that a customer can not call the geek squad in his area direct seems like a stupid idea. Why would a business want an angry customer even before he becomes a customer. Also, it was frustrating to pick up a part at the coon rapids Best Buy and be told that if I had listened , I would know the receipt was taped to the product box. Would I come back to the coon rapids store? What do you think?

Works perfectly for my old projector

Used for an older projector that doesn’t have an HDMI input. Once powered up, it was immediately recognized as a second display by my laptop. No weirdness, no display issues. Just a simple straightforward device that does its job. Just remember it’s a male HDMI and female VGA so you may need to supply a VGA cable if you don’t already have one lying around…
