    It worked just the way I need it to. Had an HDMI only port out from Laptop to a VGA only setup. Got this for 15 bucks or so and perfect.

    This is a nifty little adapter. It was easy-to-use (as claimed), and I used "open box" so it didn't cost as much. I just pulled the cable for my large monitor from my old computer, attached it to the "wide" end of this adapter, then put the USB end into the USB port of my laptop and now while at home I can use my large monitor to do my embroidery designs! If I need to take my laptop to class or wherever, I just pull the USB out and - presto - I'm good to go! Everything still works.

    Thank the heavens for Best Buy owned generic products because I would have spent 2 times the amount with same results. I needed it for my daughters laptops to have a 2nd screen for school and it works well.

    I have an El Cheapo monitor with only 1 HDMI port and 1 VGA port, and wanted my PC and Xbox One connected to the same monitor. Easy fix with this! My PC is connected to the HDMI port, and with the adapter, my Xbox is running on the same monitor. Super affordable fix rather than having to spend a couple hundred on a new monitor with more ports!

    I needed this adapter to use in the classroom and it worked great! I highly recommend it. We used it to hook up a laptop computer to a projector. Best Buy was the only store in town to have it in stock on the day I needed it.
