It did have an HDMI slot so I gave this connector a shot and it has worked perfectly every time. Reasonably priced, great quality, and obviously reliable.

Needed for KVM switching

The older computer only had VGA outputs from the video card and the KVM only switched HDMI. This device converted the video formats perfectly and I now switch between computers and displays without a hitch.

Has two little ports like a headphone jack and mini port but I have not tried those yet.
