A must have to connect your laptop to an older monitor. It does what it's made to do, nothing fancy.

Handy device that works very well. I have an older projector and am currently using a new enough laptop that it doesn't have a VGA port, so this has been incredibly helpful for me.

Good adapter. I have used it on Monitors and projectors. Using a MacBook Pro as a video source. you will need an additional usb cord to power the adapter. Since I have many spare usb cords this was not an issue with me. Used an empty USB port from the computer and we have video.

Great little adapter if you're trying to convert a older monitor into a TV or HDMI compatible device strongly recommend using one of these adapters by insignia they are great and convenient especially when on the go

I have an older LCD projector I wanted to use with my new laptop. The new laptop had an HDMI port but the projector did not. I purchased the Insignia HDMI to VGA adapter and it worked great. It's a simple connection and the image quality was excellent.

Easy to plug in between an older monitor and a new computer. Build in audio port allowed to keep the headphone jack on the computer itself open. Would purchase again.

I used to go from my laptop HDMI output port to an older projector that only had VGA input. Works great. Even has a 3.5mm audio jack and Micro USB port. I was able output the audio from the adapter into my sound system

Works exactly as advertised. This allowed me to use an older monitor, that only has a VGA output, and connect it to a new(ish) laptop with an HDMI interface.

This cable was perfect to convert my old monitor connection to a USB so that I could use it with my much newer work computer when I need to work from home. Having a small laptop screen and then my monitor made working much easier.

Does exactly what it is intended to. Make sure you don't accidentally purchase the apple version (which is about $10 more) unless you absolutely need it (you don't). Plenty in stock at the store and was in and out in ten minutes.

I had to add a 2nd monitor to an all-in-one computer to view the camera system in the building. As there was only room for an older, small monitor, this worked will for the purpose.
