It was not fitting crrectl in the ps5 and the thermal padding and heatsink are really thick. It could have fit in the ps5 expansion slot but its a tight squeeze with89 pro980 the ssd, thermal pads, and heatsink. I'd recommend getting something smaller, low profile or buying the ssd with heatsink already included.

None of the screws lined up, even after squeezing really tight, I could only get 2 of the 4 screws in. Thankfully i had some thermal pads leftover from a multi pack bought on Amazon. They were about half the thickness and seemed to work perfectly.

Does not fit 4tb SN850x

Included thermal pads are way too thick. Screw holes dont line up properly unless forced. At that point ssd slightly bends.

Insignia NVME Heatsink on Seagate Firecuda 520
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just installed this heatsink on a Seagate Firecuda 520, which came without a heatsink but needed one - or at least it is recommended. The product installed more or less smoothly onto the disk. I had to take it off once, because after my first installation on the NVME disk, the heatsink was blocking the screw hole for the disk. Getting all 4 screws in was a bit difficult and required some squeezing - likely to get the silicone pads attach tightly. But this was the first time I´ve done this, so I may have been overly cautious. Anyway, now everything is installed, working and the heatsink keeps the disk nice and cool. Definitely an improvement.
