A no-nonsense protection for your M.2 investment

It was a painless experience installing into a PS5. I left the SSD cover off as well so the air intake could flow through the heatsink but I'm sure it doesn't matter. With this heatsink I'm never concerned with my drive failing. Most nvme will throttle speed if they get too hot as a protection measure but it's better to be safe with a heatsink as a secondary protection.

Welcome Addition to the PS5

It comes with a screwdriver so install couldn't be easier. Due to the demands of the PS5 and the limited space, this in addition to the drive is a welcome expansion. No issues on overheating have been noticed even on the most demanding games. Well worth the price.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ugly compared to other heat sinks designs, but it does its job, it keeps the drive cool and I like the heatsinks because they protect the m.2 and give you a bigger surface area to grab onto when inserting the drive and removing the drive, It will likely be fine in a PS5 - my use was for PC, thermal pads are a bit thick compared to some other style heatsinks but once again does its intended job.
