Great chair. I like the lumbar support and how far it can go back when having an infant sleep on me. Very heavy which is good on tile

Not bad but after some time it has given me back pain and the arm rest are made of this hard rubber type material that really hurts my arm after a hour or so. The only reason why I give it 3 stars is because the chair is well made the quality is there is just really uncomfortable

Build is solid all the way down to the wheels. The five caster wheels are pretty smooth and quiet. I think they are made with TPU or something like that. The chair is made from lots of metal and some plastic parts so it is pretty heavy or at least heavier than my $99 dollar desk chair that was mostly plastic. Its weight made the assembly process a bit awkward for me because of my back issues. I hope in turn, this chair will help my back. The firm, breathable mesh is not the most comfortable material but what I love about it is that it keeps me cool during the summer humid heat. Air just goes through this chair and it really makes a huge difference. The seat’s highest setting is about 23 inches off the ground and 18 inches at its lowest.
Features:
- Headrest: Can be adjusted up and down as well as the angle.
- Seat: Can be adjusted backwards and forwards; 18-23 inches from the ground; Rotates freely 360 degrees
- Backrest: Four lockable recline positions; Wish it would have been lockable at any position.
- Armrest: Can be adjusted up, down, backwards and forwards and angle; Made of hard rubber
- Lumber support can be adjusted up and down, five positions
This chair looks great. It is nowhere near being soft, no soft material used on this chair. I got this chair mostly because of the breathable mesh and the solid support that it offers especially for my back and so far it has not disappointed me. It is comfortable enough for me to take a nap in.

This office desk chair is exactly as described on the Best Buy website. It is truly ergonomic. I had to have help assembling it, but it only took my helper 40 minutes to put it together.

The chair arrived unassembled, but it included useful tools for assembly. I had help assembling the chair, but it wasn't too difficult to assemble. I love the overall style, look, and aesthetics of the chair. I especially like the flexibility and room of the chair. Regarding flexibility, the chair is easy to position as it is adjustable up, down, backwards and forward. The mesh feels great too as it breathes easily on the skin and won't cause me to sweat after in-depth sitting sessions. The headrest is comfortable too. Initially, I thought it would be bothersome and/or problematic but it has proven to be comfortable as well.
I work from home, as a result, the chair is in my office. The overall feel is comfortable. In comparison to a Steel Case executive chair that I have in my office, this chair ranks high with it in relation to comfort, flexibility, aesthetics, as well as style. However, I will give this chair an edge because the Steel Case has a cloth seat that can irritate my skin after prolong sitting periods.
I really like this chair and I am enjoying it within my office as it matches my decor well. I am sure, I will get many years of enjoyment out of this chair .

I've owned multiple chairs over the years, but this by far is one of the best I've ever had! I was in search of a new office chair when I ran across this one, and figured I'd give it a try. After I'm boxing, I put it together in about 30 minutes which was much more easier than all the others that I put together. The quality and weight of all the pieces that came out of the box look expensive and felt very heavy! My last Office chair I purchased cost at least $200 more than this one and didn't feel anywhere near as high quality as this one! So after putting everything together, I couldn't wait to try it out! This is one of the most comfortable chairs you probably will ever own for the price! I love when I lean back in the chair, and the lumbar support cradles the curves of my back like he was invented for me! I love the fact that I can lower and raise the armrest, but I just wish they had some type of locking mechanism to keep them from sliding forward and backwards. I love the mesh feel, because sometimes I sit at my office desk without a shirt on, and the leather usually feels uncomfortable at times. I think for anyone looking for an office chair, should buy one of these right away before the price goes up!

Great Everyday Office Use

This Insignia chair is very solid. All the parts feel quality and strong. I was surprised by how much metal was used in this chair and the weight. It is very ergonomic but not very cushioned. Sometimes I sit with one leg under me but this chair prohibits that due to discomfort. For me I would say that's not the worse thing because it promotes better posture and sitting. The lumbar support is really good. There are many options for adjusting settings for comfort. It leans back very smoothly and I like that you are able to lock the chair back at a desired angle. The headrest is comfortable and adjustable. I feel like I could easily take a nap in this. I'm very impressed with how quiet everything moves. No annoying squeezes from fidgeting. One of my favorite parts of the chair is being able to lower the arm rests enough to play guitar unperturbed. This helps with recording and playing.
I wouldn't say this is the most comfortable chair but it is good for long bouts of sitting. It seems good for the every day office use. I think for something like gaming it would be better to go with more cushion.

Ended up giving it to a coworker. I did not like this chair at all. I sit at my desk for 8-10 hours a day and I was not happy with how it felt after a few hours. Ended up going with a Herman Miller

I ordered the INSIGNIA HIGH BACK EXECUTIVE ERGONOMIC CHAIR WITH ADJUSTABLE HEADREST to replace an older chair I've had for a long time. I like what I read about this chair, and hoped it lived up to the promises. It arrived in a large box, very well packed. Be advised there IS some assembly required, but the enclosed instructions are very clear. Also be advised that a diminutive, or elderly, person might have a hard time lifting the larger pieces of this chair in order to assemble. Still, I'm eighty, but managed without any type difficulty. NOW: The chair is fully assembled and parked in front of my computer desk. The literature says the thing is "fully adjustable," and it is! The Lumbar Support is perhaps the first thing one notices ... it's great! The arm rests move front/back/up/down. And the chair swivels and allows one to lean back and rest the eyeballs from composing that Great American Novel. The chair is well made, and looks great. The style does not resemble the heavy looking chair I'm about to send on its way to where former trusty computer chairs are relegated to, and I'm more than happy with this new look! In my personal opinion, you can't go wrong with this chair. All the best!
