It works, but I need a stronger antenna

I wanted to pick up the PBS channels and while it reaches them, they come in intermittently. In a pinch, this antenna works, but I'm certain I could have bought a better antenna with a stronger signal in the first place.

Still though, once you do find the right spot for it, it acts just like any other antenna. Depends on the weather, where you live. Some channels work just fine, others are occasionally spotty, some despite receiving a signal, cut in and out constantly. So on a clear day or night, it works. Otherwise, it acts just like any other antenna.

Cheap and cheerful, 80+ channels out of the air!

I hated paying for cable so thought I would give this and Netflix a try. I hooked this up in our attic by simply unplugging the feed from the cable from the street and supplying the house with this antenna. Wow! we got 80+ channels (including digital radio stations). We saved almost $200 a month by just watching regular TV and Netflix.

Mom moved into an apartment and cable couldn't get there for a week. Once we found the right place for the antenna, she was able to pick up about a dozen channels. She keeps it in a closet just in case her cable goes out. Worth the $16!
