Great little antenna.

Of course it all depends on location but for the price I don't think you can wrong. I watched live weather report during a strong storm the other day and it did great!

I have it in an interior room. I intend to get an extension coax cable to see if there is a difference nearer a window. It is better than nothing for sure.

Especially useful are the longer VHF/FM elements that enable low-band reception. UHF performance is good, but not as strong as the Philips SDV8201B/27, another basic rabbit ears and loop antenna.

Hmmm think I’ll be returning one of my rented cable boxes.

Works Great as an FM Radio Antenna
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have Yamaha HTR Receiver that is amazing, but the FM reception was always poor with the original antenna. This solved the problem. FM Radio frequencies are on VHF I think between channels 6 & 7. With this fully extended I can receive radio stations from hundreds of miles away. Pretty cool.

Inexpensive, works note rabbit ear "fixed"

The straight antennas are shorter than some and the rabbit ear bow is fixed - it cannot swivel like some more expensive units. But for the price it works, and if you use signal strength meter display on TV and turn base, you can usually get a good picture. Simple and no rental fees.
