Got it for local news

Was only able to get one channel for current news (I thought with proximity to NYC that I would have the major channels for news. The reception for that one channel was good most of the time, had to rearrange the antennas occasionally for better pictures. You get what you pay for!

So simple and continues to work - ears are fixed

Note I was surprised - the "rabbit ears" are fixed in one position, can not be rotated like some other antennas. Yet the signal comes in fine if you rotate the base. The main telescoping antenna are short - and do not sag like other units I've used. Bottom line it works and can't beat the price.

It is a good alternative if you don't have cable. The only drawback is that I live in an apartment, so adjusting the ears has to occur occasionally to keep from losing the signal.
