Posted .Sorry to make the trouble. As the Infrared Thermometer is sensitive device, the readings will be changed when measuring distance changes, but readings should be in appropriate range.

I guess it works for what it is and gives a semi-accurate temp for a person. Don't use this on a wall though.

Press the button once to turn it on, hold it close to your forehead and press the button again. I have no idea of it's accuracy but it seems close to what my temp should be.
