The joy-con wheel is nice to have when playing Mario kart. You don't need them but to me, it makes the game more fun. For the price you can't beat it. I gave it a 3 because there really is nothing to them. It is just a housing device for the controller to sit in and makes it easier to play the game.

These wheels were inexpensive but do the job. It is ready to install the joy con, and the wheel cradles the joy con in a soft compartment. The wheel's buttons make it much easier to reach the L and R buttons than it is to reach them holding the bare joy con. Even if you don't turn the wheel in a racing game, it makes the joy con easier to hold. Glad I bought them.

I'll start by saying the Joy-Cons fit very well in these steering wheels. That being said, using these with the controller buttons just doesn't feel right. We ended up using them with the auto acceleration to rely on buttons as little as possible. They are fun for a new challenge playing with friends, but neither me or my 4 year old prefer them over just the Joy-Cons so they stay in a drawer most of the time. I'd recommend them only if you have gotten bored of Mario Kart and are interested in a new way to play it.

I seen the steering wheel controllers for a while and have been very skeptical to buy them. Bought just two and my family loves them. I thought they wouldn’t work well or would be hard to use. Nintendo has done it again! Now we all fight over the steering wheel controllers. I’ll be buying two more here soon!

Make it so much easier and much more fun to play with

The joycons fit perfectly into these wheels. I was slightly confused at first, but as long as you line up the plus (+) or the minus (-) they work as advertised. The size of the wheels is manageable for my large hands or my small person's tiny hands. It makes the game more fun as well

Bought this for kids, thinking it may make Mario kart more entertaining, but it really didn't help much. They're inexpensive and pretty well made. They match the red and blue joy cons perfectly. Only problem is that they're really small so I think it's less immersive then I'd hope. For the price, it's worth orthopedic a shot.

The Joy-Con Wheel was a well purchased item. It's great for anyone, including myself, with big hands since the remote control are so hard to control while playing Mario Kart. It has a few hiccups such as popping out while playing, and sometimes the LT/RT button doesn't work as well. However, just push it back in and continue on. Worth the price.
