I had to replace a unit from a major discount retailer because it broke after falling to the floor from the top of the desk. This Best Buy unit is sturdy, but the quality of the sound is superior.

After several years of daily use these were ordered to replace our old unit. A great choice . . . good pricing, availability, a good upgrade. Thanks Best Buy!

Be careful. These have a 2.5 mm end which is usually not the 3.5 connector for PCs which is what I needed. My bad. I didn't return them because it is just 20 bucks or so and BB shouldn't pay for my goofs. Besides, I'll probably need these someday. Anyways, I got the correct Insignia headset and they are *way* beyond my expectations so I'll just assume they are as good as this one. The 3.5's have features that put them a few notches above these (like the mic doesn't protrude in front of my face so I can drink coffee while talking) so I'll give these 4 stars instead of 5.

This worked really well for what we needed - a headset that would plug into our land-line phone. My wife uses this at least 4 to 5 hours a day. Thumbs up!

I have been looking for a phone I could use a headset with and finally found both. This headset is great when I need to access the computer while on the phone. Love it!

Works perfect with my office desk phone. Now I don't have to use speakerphone for conference calls or whenever I get put on hold for any length of time. It was a good price for what I needed.

I have this headset plugged into my Panasonic landline telephone. It makes it hands-free so I can do other things while waiting on hold.

Extra long cable can be good but I need to loop it and shorten it. Sounds ok and comfortable to wear.

I bought this to replace the headset in my home office because the cord had frayed. This works better than the old one, although the extra long cord took time to get used to.

It’s too big with no adjustment on head but sounds clear. Lots of wire!

I bought this for my job so I can talk to my patients and perform other tasks at the same time. These headphones have been a real inexpensive blessing.

Had a previous similar headset that finally bit the dust. Have been looking for a replacement on and off. Really comes in handy when on long "holds" or taking care of some business issues at home or just want to be hands free while talking on the phone. Seems somewhat on the cheaply made side, esp the plastic on the headpiece, but I did not want to pay a fortune for an item not heavily used, so it is OK. Initially thought it did not work, but had the mute switch in the wrong direction. Figured out quickly and all was good.

I wanted a headset that plugged into my cordless phone and this does the trick. Easy to use and the mute switch is a nice feature.
