So glad to have found this product to keep my CD player clean -- not many products out there for this anymore -- few of us still have CD players ! And easy to use. Have had a very similar product in the years past but wanted to get a new one for preventive maintenance.

Our Wii wasnt reading discs so i bought this to "clean" the eye of the system and it worked! Now can play the wii again!!

I read the reviews on this cleaner when my 8 year old(!) car CD player began skipping on CDs I knew were not flawed............simply put, THIS THING WORKS! I've only used this for this one application, but it certainly did the trick, I assume it would work equally well in DVD players as well. Hey, there's still LOTS of us dinosaurs (CD loving) folk out here, and this is a must if you play 'em long and loud!

I had not cleaned the CD/DVD player for a while. When we pulled out some Christmas CDs to play, there was some skipping while others were fine. After checking the setup to ensure wires were connected I remembered dust being a main culprit before. having lost the disc cleaner, I read the reviews and then set out to get one. Directions are scarce - but I figured it out, cleaned the machine twice for good measure and nothing skipped again.

I was pleased with how easy it was to use this . Simple, cheap, and effective. Great purchase!

When I placed the cleaner into the dvd player, it began to start almost immediately. It gave automatic instructions verbally and went through the various stages and languages automatically and seamlessly. I am not a person accustomed to doing technical or electronic things. It worked effortlessly and very well. I would recommend this dvd cleaner to anyone needing to clean out their machine.

I bought this specifically to fix a problem with my Boston Scientific CD/radio. The CD player was giving me a read error and would not play a CD. Unfortunately it did not resolve the problem, but for the money, I decided to keep the laser lens cleaner to use on my other media players for preventative maintenance.

INSIGNIA is a name I respect, and since I have been doing quite a bit of Video Burning to DVD and BluRay Disks, I was embarrassed to pop one in that I'd made a few years ago, as the middle section was skippy, for lack of a better word. Purchased this Babby that night, and am not having any more issues. YEAH!!

This disc is wonderful, it is easy to use and does a great job of cleaning our dvd player. I would get it again.

It works but please order online Cus the location I go to is horrible help . I asked a employee to point me toward a product I wanted to purchase and he pointed me into a random location to basically leave him alone . I found what I wanted after reading tags and there was no item even tho I saw there was plenty in stock online . I gave up and ordered it online and what do you know . I left and got home and immediately received a notification that my item was ready for pick up ノಠ_ಠノ

Got the job done. Quick and easy to use. The price was very reasonable.

Probably would do a good job on most equipment. We have a 6 disk changer deck, and this did a better job than the two DVD cleaning disks we already had. One big advantage was that this did play the instructions thru the unit.
