Have 3 systems that needed cleaning, CD and DVD. Folliwed instructions and all work great now!

It is hard to say how effective this is. The problem I had was the audio side and it turns out the source seems to be with the player itself. So as far as this product is concerned, it is hard to rate its effectiveness. It is very easy to use and take little time.

Performed to expectations. Used to clean and restore old disc player.

It worked. Watching fewer DVDs lately. But thought we were getting "bad" rentals. When my own didn't work, I knew something was wrong. This fixed it. I see no reason why it can't be used multiple times. It's just small "brushes" on a DVD disk.

Efficient and well priced and does the job for lens cleaning.

I,m having trouble with my CD player skipping badly; I bought Insignia Lens Cleaner; and it has vastly improved the play. Easy to use; just pop it in and follow instructions. Unfortuntely, it did not completely clear the scratch; but it is useable for now.

I was literally shopping for a new five disc CD player because all my CD's were skipping and stopping. A friend suggested this CD cleaner before I spent $500 on a new player. I was skeptical to say the least! But....it was so easy and the first time I used it, I WAS SHOCKED!! It worked perfectly. I LOVE it!

My ps4 pro has been unable to read discs. I tried this cleaner, even though its NOT for self loading machines (I failed to read the fine print). It did not help my problem, but it does work for devices with manual open drives.

Had an older LG DVD Surround System @ my mother's home sitting on entertainment center for years without use. After a family get together one night we decided to play old DVDs and the discs wouldn't read. After looking at the dust on the player I just assumed the lens would be filthy too. Picked this up from BB, and had to wet the bristles slightly w a damp cloth on 2nd cleaning attempt, but it did the trick. Can't complain.

Does a great job with my 4k blu-ray player but not so much with my PC. I found whatever problems I had with player using discs that I recorded just sort of evaporated.

I listen to a lot of CDs that I buy and take out from the public library. For a long time I thought it was overused CDs that were distorting my CD player. I later learned that the laser lens gets distorted and clouded and it needs to be regularly cleaned -- safely. When I bought this product, problem solved and I can regularly listen to CDs without distortion. My only problem is the disk cleaner itself wears out but it's hard to tell when, so at some point it just stops working. It would be helpful for some guide on the disk (an audio message) or in the instructions how many times you can use it would improve the product. That said, I will continue to buy it.

The cleaner has functioned in an efficient manner and is very easy to use. It takes seconds to clean the lens on my DVD players and i am very happy with this product.

I received a vehicle for my born day in 09/2020 the vehicle had been sitting for 6 months I couldn't play my cd's so I searched at different stores & Best Buy was the only store that had what needed. It work like a champ. Thankd
