It should just play and clean and done. Hopefully it is at least good at cleaning.

The disk only removed part of the problem. Unfortunately, repeated usage of the product did not rectify the entire condition.

Since I am a teacher I am always afraid chalk dust is going to get in there and this is just an extra step to keep things clean.

We were honestly surprised and pleased that this little disk completely solved the problem. Then we used it on our kitchen stereo that was also skipping. It's like magic!. Great product. It felt like we were taking a risk at throwing our money away, but not so. Saved us big bucks twice by avoiding the replacement of two cd players.

I thought this might alleviate the problem, but it didn't. Perhaps my CD player was too far gone, and it may work in other circumstances. I ended up buying another CD player....from Best Buy!
