The car had so little miles and my guess the player was never really played. Probably accumulated dust. Tried it a few times, still no luck. Would not read cd. But after several attempts trying the cleaner, the cd player worked!! Took a few times to get the cd reader cleaned I guess. But it worked.

For cleaning you will need a "wet" system. Unfortunately, Best Buy does not sell a wet cleaning system at this time.

I had cleaned the DVD discs previously with a cleaner and they still weren’t playing. I assumed my DVD player needed cleaning so I purchased this product for around $15. I followed the instructions provided and left the item in longer than the required time. I proceed to play new disc and DVD player still slow and hangs up on playing discs. One is better off just getting a new DVD player rather than one of these devices even though one will be more expensive.

I really think this is not good to be use as cleaner or not help in anything.
